About Mandela Barnes

Mandela's is a uniquely Wisconsin story. He was born in one of our nation's most impoverished zip codes. His mom was a public school teacher and his dad worked the third shift at General Motors. Those union jobs were their ticket to the middle class.

Those same tickets no longer exist across Wisconsin... Mandela is fighting to change that.
