End the filibuster so corporate donors and corrupt politicians like Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema don't stand in the way of progress on protections for voting rights and action to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals, terrorists, and teenagers.

Codify Roe V. Wade into law and guarantee access to abortion and the full spectrum of reproductive healthcare at the federal level.

Achieve universal healthcare and cap the price of insulin. Break up and prosecute the Big Pharma cartels for collusion and price gouging on life-saving medications.

Legalize marijuana at the federal level and expunge non-violent offenses.

End our forever wars. No more wasting trillions of dollars on "nation building" or pointless wars overseas. We need to Nation Build America.

Fight climate change. Invest in the job creation and infrastructure we'll need to put Missouri and the Midwest first in renewable energy production. Let's end America's energy reliance on Big Oil and foreign dictators. The next generation of energy should belong to the working people of Missouri.

Protect our democracy. Abolish corporate PACs, enact a real ban on stocks for Congress, and end the influence of giant corporations in our politics.

Make stuff in America again. Break up the multinational corporations that ship jobs overseas, take our farmland, destroy small businesses, and strip our communities for parts. Invest in reshoring critical industries like semiconductor production to tackle supply chain issues and inflation.

Put American workers first. Renegotiate the bad trade deals that have hollowed out our economy. Defend unions, pass the PRO Act, and ban so-called "Right-to-Work" schemes forever.

Lucas grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Jefferson City. When his sister's medical bilis bankrupted his family, their friends and neighbors helped them make it through. He then joined the Marines to honor what they did for him. After deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan, Lucas served on the Pentagon's Joint Staff, where he led arms control negotiations with NATO and Russia. After seeing the threat posed by corporate consolidation to our national security firsthand, he was inspired to join the American Economic Liberties Project, a nonprofit that takes on the corporate power that is stripping our communities for parts.
