Travels of Vice President Mike Pence—September 2020

President Donald J. Trump  |  Vice President Mike Pence  ||  Former Vice President Joe Biden  |  Sen. Kamala Harris

Campaigning in the time of COVID.  In the month, Vice President Pence made 14 trips visiting 11 states as well as DC.  The schedule showed campaign events on 12 days; he  also addressed cadets at VMI on Sept. 10 and participated in Sept. 11 remembrance events in New York City.  Pence did few OTR stops (a field office in Pennsylvania on Sept. 9, a fire station in New York on Sept. 11, and site of a destroyed business in Minneapolis on Sept. 24).  Schedules and pool reports noted only two in-person fundraisers; he attended one in Atlanta on Sept. 30 but cancelled his appearance at a Sept. 14 event in Montana due to a controversy over the hosts.  On the official side, the Coronavirus Task Force is a major focus.  @mike_pence
