Travels of Fmr. Vice President Joe Bidenf—September 2020

President Donald J. Trump Vice President Mike Pence  ||  Former Vice President Joe Biden  |  Sen. Kamala Harris

Campaigning in the time of COVID.  Biden has made a dozen trips out of Delaware, traveling to eight states and DC: FL, MI, MN, NY, NC, OH, PA (five times), WI (two times) and DC.  Biden's events are all tightly controlled with social distancing and very small numbers of participants.  He has done several backyard conversations and some OTR stops.  Five times Biden made scheduled remarks from Wilmington (Sept. 2 - reopening schools, Sept. 4 - jobs report, Sept. 14 - climate change/wildfires, Sept. 16 - COVID vaccine and 27 - Supreme Court) and on Sept. 20 he made a speech on the Supreme Court from Philadelphia.  Biden did virtual only events on five days and generally took the weekend off in terms of public events, other than attending Mass.  Highlights of the month were the CNN town hall on Sept. 17, the first debate on Sept. 29 and the Ohio/Pennsylvania train tour that followed.  Biden has also done eight virtual fundraisers.  @JoeBiden  |  @DrBiden
