"Oklahomans can't afford to send an extremist to the U.S. Senate."
–Kendra Horn

A fifth-generation Oklahoman, Kendra's family taught her the importance of investing in people and serving her community – values that continue to guide her today. As a community leader and an attorney, she's proven her commitment to finding solutions to improve the lives of Oklahomans, regardless of their political party.

Serving on the powerful House Armed Services Committee and chairing the Science, Space and Technology Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics, Kendra established herself as one of the most bipartisan, effective, and accessible members of Congress. Kendra had 25 bills signed into law, held 54 town halls across her district, and tirelessly delivered critical services to thousands of Oklahomans.

Kendra will bring the same passion for public service and problem solving to serve all Oklahomans in the US Senate.

"Former Democratic Congresswoman Kendra Horn enters Oklahoma Senate race to succeed GOP's Inhofe."

Why This Race Is Winnable

In 2018, Kendra won the biggest upset victory in Congress, flipping an R+ 11 "Likely Republican" seat, to become the first Democrat in 44 years to represent Oklahoma's 5th District. In office, she was one of the most bipartisan, effective, and accessible members of Congress. She was an active member of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus and had 25 bills signed into law in a divided government. Polling indicates Kendra has 80% statewide name identification, and starts the general election against her likely Republican opponents TIED AT 38%, with 24% of voters undecided. Additionally, communicating in Oklahoma is both affordable and efficient, with the Oklahoma City and Tulsa media markets reaching 90% of the electorate and rates costing a tenth of advertising in New York City.

A majority of voters (51%) are likely to vote for Kendra Horn after learning more about her.

State Of The Race
Kendra, the Democratic nominee, will face one of two corrupt extremists competing in the August 23 Republican run-off in the general election, either current Republican Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) or former Oklahoma Speaker of the House TW Shannon.

Oklahoma has become ground zero in the fight to protect women and preserve our democracy. With the recent decision overturning Roe, abortion is completely banned in Oklahoma at fertilization. This government overreach is too extreme for a majority of Oklahomans. Recent polling indicates 56%, a solid majority, would vote against a candidate who supports a total ban on abortion (78% of Democrats, 55% of Independents, and 40% of Republicans). Kendra is the only person running for this open U.S. Senate seat who will protect women.

What's Next
Kendra's leadership has always focused on finding solutions to the most challenging problems facing Oklahomans. With so much on the line in this election, your investment in an affordable state will go further than anywhere across the country this cycle. Oklahoma has never elected a woman to the U.S. Senate, and you can help make Kendra the first.
