LEADERSHIP: We need an honest leader who isn't afraid to tell the truth. We need to confront the challenges we face with determination, and end the political bickering. I will listen to every side and when I choose a course ahead, you can be sure that I will be guided by the public interest.

ECONOMY: I will work to generate new state revenue from economic growth and end political corruption. I will change the old insider politics that is crippling Rhode Island's economy. My economic recovery plan will maximize the potential of the Warwick Train Station at the airport, the Knowledge District in Providence, Quonset Point, our defense industry on Aquidneck Island, and the Blackstone River Valley Industrial Corridor.

EDUCATION: As Governor, I will make education a centerpiece of our economic strategy. I support a Middle College system that combines career and vocational technical schools with community colleges as an innovative way for the state to create a skilled workforce. Good schools are the key to strong communities, where families can live and businesses can relocate and prosper.

TAXES: The state must control government spending and be more efficient. The state should not pass down its problems to our local communities and force property and car taxes to rise. I pledge to be a champion of the property taxpayer.

EXPERIENCE: Rhode Island needs a Governor with a proven record of bringing people together and getting things done for our state.
