1999 - Takes women with breast cancer to Canada to buy prescription drugs at 1/10th price

2001- Passes legislation requiring medicines developed at taxpayer expense to be offered at fair and reasonable price

2002 - Votes against 2nd Iraq War

2004 - Passed legislation that prevented IBM from taking away workers' pensions

2006 - Voted against constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman

2007 - Established Energy Efficiency and Conservation Grant program

2008 - Passed provision to double funding for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

2009 - Passes legislation providing $350 Million to help family farmers

2014 - Passes bipartisan bill to expand VA hospitals and clinics

2018 - Forces Amazon and Disney to raise their starting wage to $15 an hour
