* Medicare For All
Healthcare is a right of ali people. No workers should have to negotiate with their employer for good healthcare. Under Medicare For All, everyone will get access to comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision coverage. All with no copays. No premiums. No deductibles. No surprise out of pocket bills. And, workers will be able to go to any doctor or hospital they want, instead of being locked into restrictive provider networks. At the negotiating table, unions won't have to sacrifice wages and other benefits ever again. Bernie will require that resulting healthcare savings for the company get turned into wage increases and additional benefits for workers.

* Collective Bargaining & Workers' Rights
Not only does Bernie have the strongest pro-union record of any candidate, but his campaign is the first in history to have an organized workforce (UFCW Local 400) and is the first campaign in history to use its own text and email lists to rally its own supporters to join nearby union picket lines. Building the trade union movement is essential to restoring dignity and justice to working people. Bernie's Workplace Democracy Act will make it easier for workers to join a union, and will require that workers' decision to unionize be respected by their employer.

* Good Jobs and Fair Trade
Bernie Sanders is the only candidate running for president who has led the fight against every single one of the bad trade agreements that are causing so much harm to working families. He led the fight against corporate trade deals like PNTR with China, CAFTA, NAFTA and the TPP. As president, Bernie will ensure that labor unions and their community allies are at the table to write the deals, rather than just picking up the scraps. He is the only candidate who has pledged to sign an executive order to end federal contracts for corporations that outsource American jobs. And as president, he will reject trade deals that do not include strong and swift enforcement mechanisms to raise the wages and to prevent corporations from outsourcing American jobs.
