POLITICAL COMMUNICATIONS

The number of political flyers/posters posted on walls and fences around Warsaw was quite noticeable.  These included posters/flyers from ongoing political debates, from the May 27, 1990 local elections, from possible candidates looking ahead to presidential elections (dates had not been set yet), and from the June 4, 1989 parliamentary elections of more than a year earlier.  Unless otherwise indicated the photos are from Warsaw in July-Aug. 1990.  Translations are via Google Translate, which gives a good sense of the text but is not word perfect.

Also,
I have a number of Polish election posters, including some given to me by Marcin Żmudzki, mixed in with many other posters. I need to sort through these!  Marcin also loaned me others posters/flyers, which I photographed several decades ago.  Unfortunately I used inappropriate B&W film and didn't have the best lighting so they are not great images; examples of those are here.
