I believe we can work together in Vermont to value every human being and solve the problems we are facing.

Every Person Matters!
 

Together, we can build a future that works for all Vermonters!

To do this we must put people above profits and stop letting corporations and the rich rule.

Investing in people and communities will improve lives now and save money and lives in the future.

We need to lift up people who have been pushed down by intolerance, acts of hatred or violence, economic injustice, and an unfair criminal injustice system. We need to protect the rights of all people.
 
Housing is a human right
Vermont has the second highest homelessness rate in the nation.
We can change it.
We can make sure everyone has housing by changing our priorities.

Free Healthcare for all.
Eliminate the profit motive in healthcare
Pay for healthcare, not insurance executives.
Get Wall Street out of Vermonter's healthcare.
Your medical decisions should be made by you and your doctor.

Basic needs
Living wages & fair work schedules!
Shorter work weeks.
Quality childcare for all.
Nourish and protect children, the disabled, and elders.
There are enough resources to meet everyone's basic needs and we can access these resources through progressive taxation and responsible regulation of employers.

Ongoing Climate Crisis
Expand Renewable energy sources
Build public transportation systems
No new biomass
Incentivize Rail transport
Support local food production & distribution that uses open land to provide enough food locally while reducing emissions of methane and nitrous oxide
 
It's All Connected!
 
Governance
Put people first.
Outlaw paid lobbying.
More progressive taxation
Limit campaign spending
Stop relying on for profit businesses to do the work of the public sector.
Support environmentally and socially responsible business.
Protect the human rights of all and freedom to be who we are.
Keep the government out of personal choices as long as we are not harming other people.
 

Basic needs first:
Housing for all
Healthy food for all
Health Care for all
Basic Utilities for all
Fair, livable wages
Work with Dignity
Education for all
Equal Protection unter the law!
Freedom to be who we are!

We can do this if we stop funding things that don't work.

Prisons don't make us safer,
Paying insurance companies doesn't improve health care.
Relying on the private sector doesn't support the public good.



In my lifetime, wealth has been redistributed from most of us to the very rich.
 
It is time to reverse that.
 
We are not seeking funding.
