                 Meet Phil LYMAN

Phil Lyman, a 5th generation Utahn, is known for his bold conservative leadership in San Juan County and beyond. As county commissioner, he led a protest against federal road closures and was named "Commissioner of the Year" for his commitment to defending citizens' rights.

His career as an accountant began after earning degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. He returned to his hometown of Blanding to run his father's CPA firm and co-founded the town's first Rotary Club and the Blanding Area Travel Council.

Lyman played a key role in transforming healthcare in San Juan County, helping to launch Utah Navajo Health Systems and creating the San Juan Public Health Department.

Lyman also worked to preserve roads and access to public lands and reduce federal control over Utah's lands. He served as chair of the Seven-County lnfrastructure Coalition, promoting vital infrastructure development while preserving local autonomy.

As a state legislator, Lyman sponsored or co-sponsored 65 bills, focusing on property and water rights, rural healthcare, and natural resources management. Phil is a strong advocate for state sovereignty, fighting relentlessly against federal and special interest groups' meddling in Utah's land, water, and energy resources.

Lyman's leadership has fostered relationships from urban areas to the Navajo Nation, making him a respected figure in Utah's diverse political landscape.
Phil and Jody Lyman have five children and seventeen grandchildren. They enjoy family outings and travel. Phil is driven by his role as a husband, father and grandfather and has a deep commitment to protecting Utah's fundamental liberties and resources for the next generation of our state.

Bold ACTION
LymanforUtah.com

ENERGY PRODUCTION
Utah has an abundance of mineral wealth. As our energy demand increases, Utah must be prepared to provide solutions.

EMPOWER COUNTIES
Decisions should be made by the people who know what is happening in their communities, and who are affected by policy decisions, not by disconnected agencies in Washington, D.C.

FAMILIES FIRST
Get government out of the way so that our housing market can stabilize, making affordable homes possible for Utah families.

PARENTAL RIGHTS
Ensure parental rights when it comes to education choices and currículum in public schools. No more criminalizing parents who speak up at school board meetings.

ELECTION INTEGRITY
When it comes to our elections, the best course to achieving trust in the system is to have systems that are trustworthy.

PUBLIC LANDS
Presently 67% of Utah's land is controlled and mismanaged by the federal government. Prioritize the transfer of control of Utah's beautiful and mineral rich lands back to the state.

PROTECT CHILDREN
Stand firmly against actions that harm children, from gender indoctrination to hormone therapy and gender mutilation. Block the far left from imposing its agenda on our children.

LYMAN
FOR GOVERNOR

BETTER ROADS AHEAD

1. Fight Government Intrusion. America is about freedom and states are supposed to defend against encroachment in the lives of the people. The government is supposed to prevent plunder, not facilitate it.

2. Education. Our schools have become sanctuaries for ideologues to indoctrinate our kids by removing parents and God from the classroom. We never agreed to allow the government to co-parent Utah's kids.

3. Energy. The quickest path to economic abundance is cheap, clean, dispatchable energy. Utah is blessed with more natural energy resources than any state in the lower 48 states. We should be energy-independent.

4. Governance. When it comes to taxes, regulation, agency rule-making, planning and zoning, and public-private partnerships, there is a vacuum of leadership. Without a strong commitment to intelligent, principled leadership, corruption becomes the rule.

Better Roads Ahead

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

l'm thrilled to share the outcome of the 2024 Utah Republican state convention. Phil Lyman emerged as the clear choice for governor, winning with 67% of the vote, demonstrating his bold vision for Utah and genuine engagement with delegates.

However, Governor Cox's speech at the convention was deeply disappointing. He attacked delegates and threatened the caucus-convention system, aiming to replace it with signature gathering, which would sideline grassroots voices and allow the election system to be controlled by money and influence. We cannot let this happen.

l'm honored to represent you in our precinct, I urge you to stand up for our values and support Phil Lyman. He represents the future of grassroots politics in Utah and will defend our caucus-convention system.

Join me in spreading the word and volunteering for the Lyman for Governor campaign. Let's ensure our voices are heard and our system is protected.

Sincerely,
