Creating Real Opportunity For Every Wisconsinite

Lt. Governor Mande/a Barnes is a proud Wisconsinite and the son of a teacher and a third-shift auto worker. Their union jobs and hard work were the family's ticket to the middle class – a ticket Mandela will fight to ensure more families have access to.

As Wisconsin's next Senator, Mandela will:

  • Give the middle class a tax cut so you can keep more of what you earn.
  • Crack down on big corporations that ship American jobs overseas and bring back manufacturing jobs to fix our supply chains.
  • Stand up to corruption and self-serving politicians in Washington and refuse to take Corporate PAC money.
  • Protect Social Security and Medicare benefits seniors have earned through a lifetime of hard work.
  • Standing up for women's right to make their own health care decisions.
Josh Kaul is a father and former federal prosecutor who was elected to serve as Attorney General in 2018. Josh has worked to fight crime and get dangerous criminals off the street, protect our natural resources, and defend our voting rights.

About Mandela Barnes

Mandela's is a uniquely Wisconsin story.
He was born in one of our nation's most impoverished zip codes. His mom was a public school teacher and his dad worked the third shift at General Motors. Those union jobs were their ticket to the middle class.

Those same tickets no longer exist across Wisconsin... Mandela is fighting to change that.

As the only non-millionaire among the leading candidates, Mandela knows how hard things are for middle-class families. That's why he has a plan to support family farms and bring manufacturing and good union jobs back to Wisconsin.

He knows if we want to change Washington, we need to change the type of people we send there. That's why he's powered by grassroots support and isn't taking a dime in Corporate PAC money.

Mandela is one of the most active Lieutenant Governors in Wisconsin history, working side by side with Governor Evers to bring critical relief to farmers and small businesses across Wisconsin. Mandela is also working to combat the climate crisis and to create opportunities for people regardless of where they live.

Mandela has visited every county in the state, and he'll bring that same energy and dedication to the U.S. Senate.
