Who I Am
 
  I was born in Chicago and spent part of every year in South Dakota from an infant until my teens. Throughout this time, I worked my grandparent's farm. Farmers feed the world and are great supporters of the environment and conservation.
  I have 17 years of post-secondary education. This included studies in social sciences, economics, psychology, culinary arts, languages, art, market analysis, math and science particularly in the biological sciences, wildlife management and pre-vet tech classes. I have a BS degree in zoology from NDSU and worked as an Animal Keeper for the Red River Zoo in Fargo, ND.
  I worked at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a Compliance Officer which I believe is an important skill in making sure compliance to the Constitution is upheld. I have never been a politician before this race. I regards this as an advantage in that I am not part of the two party system that has consistently excluded the needs of most South Dakotans and Americans.

Why I'm Running
 
  I have been an observer of the political scene since I was a child. Recently I have seen my country lose its way. Our freedoms are being taken away. The two party system has become more polarized and even violent. This is not my America.
  I want to see a return to civility and common sense. I want to see a government that is devoted and accountable to the people. the law, the preservation of our liberty and not to a party or one individual.
  When I look at the two parties in power, I see people who are mostly working to keep their party in power. They rarely get along and often go against the best interests of us, the people.
  I want to be your senator to try to set an example of leadership that includes cooperation with other legislators of all parties. In this way I believe I can get things done for you and not just work to stay in power.

My Planks
 
-  Preserve our liberty by stopping the incursion of government into our prívate lives.
-  Tax reform: The tax burden should be fairly distributed. We must end loopholes that allow the very wealthy and large corporations to pay little to no tax and get refunds.
-  Protect families. It is financially difficult for most people and many people are deciding not to have children. We need an economic environment that is beneficial to families.
-  Education: Democracy depends on a well educated population.
-  Honor our commitments to the Sovereign Nations.
-  Provide proper benefits and services for our veterans.
-  Stop the attack on democracy.
-  Protect the environment and our famers.
-  Work to better the quality of life for Senior and Disabled citizens.
 
Why I'm a Better Choice
 
  I am someone who is not beholden to either Democrats or Republicans. Because of that, my commitment will be to the people and the Constitution. As a Libertarían, I will work for a smaller government that stays out of your private lives and respects your civil liberties. Our current senators have shown that they are more committed to party politics by their recent vote against benefits for veterans.
  You need a senator who will take seriously the role of Congress as a check and balance against the Executive and Judicial branches. In recent years our senators have either been a rubber stamp for a Republican president or an unreasoning obstruction to a Democratic president.
  Instead of this logjam, I will be a senator who looks at issues and not party. I will be civil and rational and protect your freedom. Money and power must be removed from politics.
