Sen. John Boozman (R), easily won a third term, defeating real estate agent Natalie James (D) and firefighter/paramedic Kenneth Cates (L). 

Former President Trump endorsed Boozman on Mar. 8, 2021.  In the May 24, 2022 primary, he tallied 58.03% of the 347,556 votes tallied, defeating former NFL football player and U.S. Army Ranger Jake Bequette (20.66%), conservative commentator Jan Morgan (18.98%) and Heath Loftis (2.33%).  In the Democratic primary, James won the nomination with 54.09% of the 91,932 votes tallied, defeating Dan Whitfield (30.80%) and Jack E. Foster (15.11%).

Boozman had a huge fundraising advantage.  Open Secrets shows his campaign raised almost one hundred times more than his opponent: $7.7 million raised, $7.2 million spent and cash on hand of $992,331.  The James campaign reported raising just $78,408 (>).
