Aug. 21, 2021 - Daniel Mercuri, one of the many lesser known candidates, made a low key appearance to show his support at a rally against vaccine passports at Tongva Park in Santa Monica.  Mercuri, a Navy veteran, is co-founder and executive producer of an independent production company and CFO of an investment group.

Inevitably there were signs of the recall election just weeks away.
