Our economy, schools, and healthcare system have been broken for years while Harrisburg remains in a coma. Pennsylvania should have a $1 trillion economy that is globally competitive and strongly supported by our world-class schools and a top-notch healthcare system.

As a teenager, Dr. Nche (pronounced "enchay") Zama, arrived in the United States with just $20 in his pocket, worked hard, made enormous sacrifices, and was able to achieve the American dream. He went on to earn a PhD in chemistry, a masters degree in management from Harvard and eventually graduated as a Harvard educated and trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon. His career has been dedicated to healthcare programs in Pennsylvania. Currently, he and his wife Joanne reside in the beautiful Pocono region with the youngest of their four children.

Dr. Zama recognizes that for too long the great American dream has been an illusion for many Pennsylvanians.
 
It is time for a new kind of leadership in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania needs a governor with the vision and patient-centered mentality of a doctor. As Dr. Zama has done in his profession, he will serve at the highest level of excellence and establish high-performance teams to identify problems, propose solutions, implement corrective measures, monitor results, and achieve successful outcomes for the people of Pennsylvania.
