MOVE MAINE FORWARD!

Election Day November 8, 2022

Paul LePage survived homelessness living on Lewiston's streets, escaping a troubled home and poverty, to earn an advanced college degree and become a success story. From saving job creators from closure to growing the Mardens store chain even during a recession, Paul LePage proved that decades of hard work can equal success. As Mayor of Waterville, he cut taxes without eliminating services. As our Governor, Paul grew Maine's economy, helped eliminate wasteful spending, implemented welfare reform, and worked to improve education while tackling issues like domestic violence. Along with his wife Ann, one of Maine's greatest First Ladies, Paul is ready to Move Maine Forward.

Governor Paul LePage

Will Move Maine Forward!

LOWER INFLATION

Janet Mills and Joe Biden drove inflation with debt-fueled spending. Paul will bring back fiscal responsibility.

PROTECT JOBS AND GROW MAINE'S ECONOMY
As Governor, Paul LePage lowered Maine's unemployment rate from 8% to near 3%. Now, we must fully recover again, not using one-time Washington money gimmicks, but with real, lasting, pro-jobs reforms.

LESS EXPENSIVE GAS, DIESEL, FOOD, HOME HEATING, AND ELECTRIC BILLS
Janet Mills forced Maine to divest from fuel investments. With her policies, along with Biden's, Maine is paying the price. Senior Citizens and families must heat their homes. Paul will work to lower costs while protecting Maine's environment.

PHASE OUT THE MAINE INCOME TAX
As Governor Paul implemented the largest tax cut in state history. To make Maine more competitive with New Hampshire which has no income tax, he will help phase out the state income tax, starting with retiree and pension taxes. He will never tax Social Security.

RESPECT CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOMS
Our rights, including the 2nd Amendment are central to Maine's outdoor heritage. We must protect parents' rights to have a voice in their children's education.

HEALTHCARE ACCESS
As Governor, Paul LePage successfully paid off a massive hospital debt left behind that threatened care. Now, Janet Mills' inflexible mandate caused healthcare workers to lose jobs, nursing homes to close, and hospitals to cut neonatal and other services. Governor LePage will reinstate workers to improve healthcare access.
