Tom Perez and Shannon Sneed have dedicated their lives to JOBS, JUSTICE, and OPPORTUNITY. They're from the "Get Stuff Done" wing of of the Democratic Party – and have the record to prove it.

Tom Perez has dedicated his life to helping families because that's his life's story.

After his dad died when he was 12, Tom helped pay his way through college working on the back of a garbage truck.

President Obama asked Tom Perez to serve as U.S. Labor Secretary because Tom understands that our economy works best when workers have a voice.

  • Others say they will raise wages – Tom Perez has done it. As Maryland's Labor Secretary, Tom implemented the first-in-the-nation living wage law, raising the mínimum wage by 35%.
  • Some say they support criminal justice reform, but as head of President Obama's Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department. Tom Perez showed it: starting more investigations into abusive police practices than ever before.
  • While others got rich off the housing crisis, Tom Perez made big banks pay for their corruption. Under Tom's leadership, the Justice Department took on banks for racial discrimination against African American and Hispanic communities – and won.
  • Sorne say they are pro-choice – Tom's proven it. As U.S. Assistant Attorney General, Tom Perez launched a record number of cases to defend the right to choose and protect access to reproductive health care.
  • Tom's a lifelong Democrat who led DNC to win back the U.S. House, Senate, and White House from Donald Trump.

A lifetime of service, not talk.
The record of getting big, progressive things done.

Here's what Tom Perez and Shannon Sneed will get done for Maryland:

  • Raise teacher pay, hire more high-quality educators, improve student performance, and reduce school overcrowding
  • Bring the outrageous costs for health care and prescription drugs under control
  • Double the Earned lncome Tax Credit to help Marylanders keep up with rising the cost of living
