ELIMINATING IMMORAL PROPERTY TAXES
 
Property taxes are immoral, plain and simple. When the government charges you a property tax, they are essentially deifying themselves by claiming to own all things.

How is it moral or just to force someone to pay a tax on something they already own?

Property taxes are simply a way to oppress honest people in an otherwise free society. It is the most wicked of all taxes since it is the government's form of legal plunder. It gives the government the power to steal that which is rightfully yours.

And if something is truly immoral, like property tax is, then we shouldn't LOWER immorality, we should eliminate it completely.

My Keep Idaho IDAHO plan proposes a complete elimination of all property taxes to ensure that Idahoans get to keep that which is rightfully theirs without any threat of the government stealing it from them.

The tax revenue from property taxes will easily be replaced and surpassed by expanding economic activity, and additional revenue generated through new industries brought to the state based on the other economic growth plans described in the Keep Idaho IDAHO plan.

Additionally, I plan to eliminate state income tax like 9 other states in the country have already done!
 
TAKING BACK OUR LAND FROM THE FEDS

The Federal Government illegally controls 63% of Idaho's land (everything in RED).

It's unbelievable, but the federal government currently has control of over 63% of Idaho's land. And you know what that land represents? It represents wealth. It represents jobs, financial peace, and security here in Idaho. It's untapped wealth that we can't take advantage of because the federal government controls it.

Look, if it's our land, then it's our land. That land represents brand new cities, houses, businesses, mines, gold, silver, restaurants, resorts, telecom, roads, infrastructure, schools, churches, hospitals, non-profits, and all the jobs that go along with that. But right now, it sits empty and useless. Every state in the country that has access to the largest portion of its own land is economically prosperous. Those that don't are economically stagnated. Idaho is included in that stagnant number.

As Governor, I will see to it that the state of Idaho reclaims our own land that is rightfully ours. Idaho can manage its own land. We don't need the federal government bullying us around and telling us what we can and can't do with our own land. So, let's use our land properly and efficiently and watch our economy explode here in Idaho. And my record and history demonstrate that I am willing to fight the feds to the very end to ensure that land rights stay with those to whom it properly belongs!
 
ENDING ABORTION ON DAY ONE
 
Human life is sacred. Our Republic was primarily founded on the principle of protecting and preserving human life. In fact, our Declaration of Independence firmly states:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

The right to life is the FIRST RIGHT claimed by our Founding Fathers in our founding document. Abortion steals that right from the most vulnerable in our society-unborn, innocent babies.

As Governor of Idaho, I will sign an executive order on DAY ONE of my administration banning abortion in the state of Idaho. Period. This will be my very first action as governor of Idaho, and I will stand by and fight for the life of the unborn in Idaho with every fiber of my being.
