More than ever, Hawaii needs elected leaders we can trust, who care about people.

That's why I'm running for governor.

As governor, I will work to build more affordable housing across our state, take action on the out of control cost of living, and take on our homeless crisis.

I'll stand up for working people and finally sign into law paid family leave and a true living wage.

But above all, I'll do everything I can every day to keep us safe and informed, to tell you the truth, and continue to care for Hawaii's families.

My wife Jaime and I share the values of Hawaii­—family and community, diversity, and a responsibility to future generations.

As parents of two children growing up in Hawaii, we want to do everything we can to help build the best future for them and for all of Hawaii's children.

A more just, peaceful, prosperous, and tolerant future where every person has educational and economic opportunity, and we treat each other with respect and dignity as members of one Ohana.

A future where we can all rise together.

Meet Josh
Josh Green is a local doctor who has spent his life caring for Hawaii families.

From 2004 to 2018, Josh served in the State House and State Senate, passing new laws that made a real difference in people's lives.

In 2005, Josh met Jaime Ushiroda, a local girl from Kaneohe, and they were married in 2006.

Together they are the proud parents of 15 year-old daughter Maia and 11 year-old son Sam.

In 2018, Josh was elected Lt. Governor and helped lead Hawaii's fight against COVID, vaccinating over a million people and saving thousands of lives.

Today, Josh continues to work as an ER doctor on weekends, caring for local families as he has for over 20 years.
