Jenny wil fight to provide quality and affordable healthcare so that no family is on the verge of a financial crisis due to a pre-existing condition. She also supports continuing family coverage for young people up to 26 years old.

COMPASSIONATE IMMIGRATION

As a mother, Jenny can not fathom parents being separated from their children. She stands for family-centered and copassionate immigration reform that secures our border and restructures the process for new immigrants.

RURAL UTAH
Jenny supports additional investment in rural Utah. She believes in stabilizing and increasing Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) and Secure Rural Schools (SRS) funding. She will fight for rural infrastucture improvements and job creation.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Jenny will prioritize our crumbling highways, overpasses, and transportation, She understands infrastructure is key to economic success and quality of life.
 
FISCAL DISCIPLINE & TAX FAIRNESS

Jenny passes a balanced budget each year on the Salt Lake County Council and supports Federal budget tightening. She believes families, not corporations and the wealthy. deserve tax breaks. She supports livable wages for workers.

Jenny Wilson is a fifth-generation Utahn with a record demonstrating commitment to the state where she raises her family.
 
In 2004, Jenny became the first woman elected to the Salt Lake County Council, where she is currently serving her second, six-year term and has led numerous policy initiatives including ethics reform, protecting Utah's trails and waterways, tackling the opioid crisis, and criminaljustice reform – all while keeping the County budget balanced.

Jenny served as the Chief of Staff to Utah's U.S. Congressman Bill Orton and was a senior leader on the Salt Lake Olympic Games staff.

On the County Council, Jenny is a bold policy-maker who forges bipartisan consensus on issues. a principle she will take to the U.S. Senate.
