Compare Jon Tester And Matt Rosendale On The Issues Facing Montanans

PROTECTING PUBLIC LANDS
Jon Tester has fought attempts to limit access, sell off, or transfer Montana's public lands. He's defended every Montanan's right to hunt and fish at their favorite places with their kids and grandkids, and fights to increase access to our public lands for recreation.

A developer from Maryland, Matt Rosendale has a history of supporting the transfer of federal public lands so developers like him can limit access far Montanans and develop our public lands far profit.

PROTECTING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE
Jon Tester has been tireless in his efforts to make health care more affordable for Montana families. Jon fought insurance companies to require them to cover people with pre-existing conditions, and protected health centers that rural Montanans rely on for their health care.

As insurance commissioner, Matt Rosendale rubberstamped double-digit premium insurance hikes and pocketed thousands of dollars from insurance company executives, even though it's his job to stand up to them.

STANDING UP FOR VETERANS
Jon Tester has worked with both Republicans and Democrats to make it easier for Montana veterans to find jobs and to improve access to quality health care, especially in rural areas. His work led to 9 new VA facilities across Montana and more accountability at the VA.

Matt Rosendale is no friend of Montana veterans. He voted against funding for Montana veterans homes, against a program that has helped Montana Gold Star families purchase homes, and against a scholarship program for Montana Purple Heart recipients.

It is an honor to represent Montana in the U.S. Senate. I'm a third-generation Montanan who battles bureaucrats and both parties to demand that government is accountable to Montana. I'll never stop fighting for Montana, and I'll make sure WE are the ones getting to decide Montana's future.
