 CT Secretary of State

Notes:  Sen. Chris Murphy (D) had little difficulty winning a second term.  He faced Matthew Corey (R), a Navy veteran who owns a pub and a high rise window washing service in Hartford, but was little known and lightly funded.  Also on the ballot were Richard Lion (
L) and Jeff Russell (G).  There was just one half-hour debate between Murphy and Corey held on Oct. 26 on "Face the State" at WFSB Channel 3's studios in Rocky Hill (>).
