As an investment executive, I sit across the table from everyday South Dakotans and see their struggles to save enough for retirement and their kids' education. I understand how hard it is for South Dakota families to get ahead, and I know how important it is that we focus on strengthening our economy.

We need to create more opportunities for families to get ahead by creating jobs, supporting agriculture, and strengthening our rural communities, while making sure every child can get a world-class education in our public schools and colleges.

I'm running for Governor for all those who believe as I do that the system is broken – and that we deserve better. It's time to clean up the corruption in Pierre so our democracy is as honest as the hardworking people of our state. Together we can rise to the occasion, meet our challenges, and build a stronger South Dakota for our children and grandchildren.
