Andrew is the son of a construction worker and a bus driver. He owes his success to hard work and a good public education. He's running for Governor to make sure every Floridian has the opportunity to succeed. As Mayor of Tallahassee, he's overseen the fastest-growing economy per capita in Florida,1 made his city safer,2 and invested in sustainable energy.

As Governor, Andrew will:
•   Transform Florida's economy for working people by creating good-paying jobs and pathways to the middle class, including raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

•   Bring change to Tallahassee and put our government back to work for everyday people, not special interests.

•   Fight for health care as a right, expand Medicaid, and protect women's health care and people with a pre-existing condition.

•   Ensure our richest corporations pay their fair share and invest money in our public schools and teachers.

•   Create a stronger clean energy economy and attack Florida's climate change crisis.
