In the Senate, Jason Kander will:

•  Continue working to improve Missouri schools, because every child in every community deserves a high-quality education.

•  Push to correct biases in the justice system and eliminate the school-to-prison pipeline.

•  Fight to get money out of politics to make sure politicians are accountable only to us. As a legislator and Secretary of State, Jason led by example on ethics reform and had a formal policy barring him and his staff from accepting personal gifts from lobbyists.

•  Help Missouri businesses create the good-paying jobs Missourians need.

•  Protect Medicare and Social Security for this generation and the next.

As the son of juvenile probation officers, Jason grew up knowing the importance of servmg others. After 9/11, Jason enlisted in the Army and was deployed to Afghanistan, where he rooted out corruption in the Afghan government.

When he returned home, Jason was elected to the state legislature, where he helped secure crucial funding for our schools and worked to make our streets safer.

As Secretary of State, Jason launched #FergusonRebuild, a nonprofit initiative to raise private money to provide grants to businesses in Ferguson and the surrounding area that were damaged or destroyed

Jason also helped lead the fight against restrictive voter photo ID requirements.
