JOHN WALSH
BRINGING MORE MONTANA COURAGE TO THE U.S. SENATE

WalshforMontana   @JohnWalsh

"When I think about what's going on in Washington and the politics that keep people from doing what's right – I think of Kennedy and keep fighting."
–John Walsh
John with his granddaughter, Kennedy

WHAT JOHN FIGHTS FOR:

  • Reducing our national debt: Montana families work hard to balance their budgets, and we should expect no less from Congress. One of John's first actions in the Senate was to sign on to a balanced budget amendment, and he has since introduced legislation that would cut wasteful spending in the Department of Defense.
  • Growing our economy: John sponsored legislation to invest in Montana small businesses, cut federal red tape and close tax loopholes for corporations that ship American jobs overseas.
  • Standing up for Montana families: John is fighting to lower student loan interest rates, provide equal pay for equal work and strengthen child endangerment laws in Montana and across the country.
  • Protecting Montana seniors: John knows that we need to balance our budget, but it can't be done on the backs of our seniors. He's committed to finding solutions that help strengthen Social Security and Medicare, and will fight any attempts to privatize them.
JOHN WALSH FOR U.S. SENATE: MONTANA COURAGE
