Economy

My first priority is the economy.

Let's start with the $17.5 Trillion Federal Debt. There is only one logical way to reduce the federal debt and that is to shrink the size of goverment. Printing money to pay our debts must stop and unfunded liabilities like Social Security, and misguided programs to redistribute wealth must be overhauled. We must stop loading future tax-payers with liabilities to provide benefits to present voters.

Healthcare Issues    

Healthcare, and getting the government out of it, is my second priority.

The Federal Government should not be an insurance company and hospital system with the unusual side-line of an army, navy and air force. Doctors and hospitals should treat, pharmaceutical companies innovate, and bureaucrats in Washington should get out of the way. That also goes for caring for our veterans, who shold be treated by doctors and hospitals of their choice.
 
Government Overreach

Government overreach in general is another major aspect of my position.

Federal programs to manipulate the marketplace, to choose winners and losers in business, or to do social engineering, whether by regulation or tax-favors, must end. Taking your tax money to give me or some business a tax benefit because the business or I engage in some government approved behavior is wrong. You are best at deciding what is in your best interest, not a Washington bureaucrat.
