KATHIE'S 5 POINT LONE STAR PLAN: A PLAN FOR TEXAS INDEPENDENCE
  • Nullify unconstitutional federal acts. Obamacare, NSA spying, BLM land grabs, EPA - it's a target rich environment! Greg Abbott thinks that filing a lawsuit is standing up to the federal government. If that's a winning strategy, why are we in this mess? Don't sue the buzzards -- arrest them!
  • Restore fiscal sanity. Aggressively use the line item veto. Replace or do without the 35% of our budget we get from DC. Promote sound money before the dollar collapses. Send the Texas Rangers to get our gold from New York. Slash our budget 50% - taxes and spending (putting us where we were when Rick Perry took office). End property taxes and franchise taxes, and NO income tax. Opt out of Medicaid, using the savings for services we choose. No taxpayer-funded services for non-citizens.
  • Defend property rights. Defeat BLM land grabs. End eminent domain. No toll road boondoggles, public private partnerships, and other forms of cronyism. Resist efforts to disarm Texans. Defend water rights from theft by federal, international, state, or local authorities or private entities using government. Greg Abbott supported Proposition 6 giving control of Texas groundwater to a three man board appointed by -- the governor! Kathie coined the term "Nix Prop 6."
  • Restore Texas sovereignty. Act as the sovereign we are under the Texas and federal Constitutions. Use a revitalized Texas State Guard, under total control of the governor, to secure our border, provide disaster relief, and be ready to do what a state militia must do in today's world. As in times past, craft a made-for-Texas guest worker program including an agreement to refuse taxpayer funded-services. Protect our grid and secure our civil liberties by forbidding its use by the NSA superspy center in San Antonio.
  • No FedLedEd. Our Texas Constitution mandates efficient public schools for the purpose of preserving the liberties and rights of Texas citizens. But a tyranical federal government assisted by cronies at all levels has corrupted the process via C-Scope/Common Core. Parents, teachers, and local and state authorities have little control of our children's education. No Texas taxes for FedLedEd!

NULLIFICATION:
Our Path to Return to Constitutional Government

Our out-of-control federal government is destroying our liberty and our country. No one enforces the Constitution, and an insatiable federal government will not limit itself. But we can restore our Constitution, our liberty, and our country by nullifying unconstitutional federal acts.

Texas is the only power that can stand up to federal tyrants to save our Constitution. But Texas can only do this if we have a governor who has the right vision and plan, and the guts to see it through.
 
Nullification is just honoring one's oath to support the Constitution. Not only will Texas not participate, we will not allow unconstitutional acts in Texas.

Nullification is not suing the federal government a failed strategy that surrenders our sovereignty to the very tyrants we are fighting, and we get massacred. Think Goliad.

Unlike secession, nullification seeks to enforce the Constitution, not reject it. It is far more likely to peacefully restore liberty than anything else.

Texans know that an out-of-control federal government will destroy us. An insatiable federal government will never limit itself. We can only restore our Constitution, our liberty, and our country by nullifying unconstitutional federal acts.

To our secessionist friends who share our zeal to resist federal tyranny, we say: if you think we can more easily secede than restore constitutional government through nullification, you're dangerously wrong. Think Sherman with drones.

RESIST CRONYISM

Politics is the means by which the rich and powerful become more rich and more powerful using the mechanism of government.
 
This cronyism destroys ordinary Texans in many ways. It steals our tax monies for favored businesses, our water for developers, and our land and property rights via eminent domain for pipelines and toll roads. It subverts our schools.

To end cronyism, we must chart a new course outside the 2 party system. Elect Kathie Glass.
