VINCENT SHEHEEN
FOR GOVERNOR

STRONGER PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Vincent will lead the charge to restore South Carolina's public schools after the reckless funding vetoes of the past several years. A proven education leader, Vincent brought members of both parties together to establish four-year-old kindergarten. He'll continue to work across the aisle to ensure our children receive a world-class education.

FIGHTING FOR ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE FOR ALL SOUTH CAROLINIANS
Vincent has led the effort to improve health care for all South Carolinians. He fought to bring our tax dollars home to provide Medicaid expansion coverage to more than 300,000 working people. Vincent will never let politics get in the way of caring for the people of South Carolina.

BAKARI SELLERS • LT. GOVERNOR
The son of a civil rights leader, Bakari learned at a young age the importance of public service. He is committed to attracting new industries to our state, bringing good, high-paying jobs. He will work to prepare our children for a high-tech economy, allocate resources for better protection and care for seniors, and repair and revitalize our interstate system and ports.

GINNY DEERIN • SECRETARY OF STATE
A small business owner and nonprofit leader who has spent her whole adult life in South Carolina, Ginny understands the need for a more responsive, more efficient state government. As Secretary of State, she will leverage her business and nonprofit experience and use state-of-the-art technology to reduce fees, cut the budget, end unnecessary regulations and improve customer service.

PARNELL DIGGS • ATTORNEY GENERAL
A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and President of the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina, Parnell has made it his life's work to fight for working people and stand up for the middle class. He'll take the politics out of the Attorney General's Office and put the focus on helping those who need it most.

KYLE HERBERT • COMPTROLLER GENERAL
A Certified Public Accountant, Kyle will restore accountability, independence and integrity to the Comptroller's office. He'll bring the professionalism needed to protect the state's credit rating, which has been put at risk due to bad management and inept accounting in the Comptroller's office.

DR. TOM THOMPSON • SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION
As a professional educator, Dr. Thompson has made it his life's mission to enrich, empower and enhance the lives of young people. He is committed to providing South Carolina's children with a quality education at every level, from pre-K to high school. Dr. Thompson will work with parents, teachers, administrators and community stakeholders to ensure every student graduates high school with a meaningful diploma that prepares them for the workforce and college.

BRAD HUTTO • U.S. SENATE
Brad is running for the U.S. Senate to change a government that's spending too much on large corporations and foreign countries and not investing enough in South Carolina jobs, schools and roads. A state senator, Brad has made his career fighting for working families across the state - and that's exactly what he'll do in Washington.

JOYCE DICKERSON • U.S. SENATE
A local public servant, Joyce has earned a reputation as a bold and courageous leader who believes every South Carolinian should have a voice in government. Joyce has been married to a U.S. Air Force veteran for 50 years and will make sure all our veterans get the care and benefits they deserve.

JIM CLYBURN • U.S. CONGRESS
The eldest son of a fundamentalist minister and a cosmetologist, Congressman Clyburn now serves as Assistant Democratic Leader in the United States House of Representatives. He is recognized as a national leader on issues of health care, education, job training and fighting for middle-class families, and his role in House leadership has enabled him to look out for South Carolina when decisions are made in Washington.
