JOHN KASICH and MARY TAYLOR
HELPING OHIO GROW AGAIN

OHIO IS COMING BACK...

Ohio is coming back to life. Our economy is on the rise. Families are going back to work and building a better future.

So what changed? Before 2010, Ohio government was broken and Ohioans were paying the price. They were saddled with a government that had forgotten its place-too big to work right, too out-of-touch to hear what Ohioans needed.

... Because John Kasich Is Getting Government Out Of The Way.

Putting Ohioans First Again-Not Government

Gov. John Kasich is turning Ohio around. He eliminated an $8 billion budget shortfall without a tax increase, cut income taxes by more than $800 million and eliminated the estate tax, a cruel and unfair tax that hit farmers especially hard.

And, Lt. Governor Mary Taylor is leading the effort to streamline Ohio's regulations. Her "Common Sense Initiative" has removed or improved hundreds of regulations that were killing jobs and holding us back.

Under their leadership, today, the size of Ohio's government is the smallest it's been in more than 30 years.

The governor's innovative job-creation initiativeJobsOhio-has transformed the way Ohio attracts and retains the businesses that are putting Ohioans back to work.

Sharing and Defending Our Values

John Kasich continues to secure liberty by law, signing every pro-life and Second Amendment bill that crossed his desk.

And, he and Mary Taylor continue to oppose Obamacare's health care takeover by refusing to set up health care exchanges or let the federal government takeover the way Ohio regulates our insurance companies.

Building the Future with Better Schools

John Kasich's education plan makes sure every child has the resources to succeed regardless of where they live. Parents are empowered by new information on how their schools are doing and now have more freedom than ever to choose the education that they want for their children.

IT'S A NEW DAY IN OHIO

JOHN KASICH PROVES CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES ARE THE ENGINE OF PROSPERITY

"Kasich's most critical accomplishment doesn't appear on a spreadsheet or in legislation; it rests in the hearts of the many Ohioans who again have hope that their state and their prospects are on the rise."
-The Columbus Dispatch

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
"In his first year Mr. Kasich erased an $8 billion deficit without raising taxes and streamlined regulations, both of which have improved confidence and certainty for businesses."

NEW JOBS
Governor Kasich has taken Ohio from almost dead-last in job creation to one of the top job creators in the country and in the Midwest.

TAX CUTS
Kasich did what many thought was impossible; eliminating an $8 billion budget deficit while cutting taxes. The Governor eliminated Ohio's estate tax, otherwise known as the "death tax;' while he preserved the income tax cut. And, he's working to cut income taxes for even more Ohioans.

SMALLER GOVERNMENT
"In the past two years, Kasich has courted, prodded and sometimes shoved lumbering ... state and local government toward innovation and efficiency."

Thousands of New Ohio Jobs

Ohioans have created more private sector jobs in the first three years of Gov. Kasich's tenure than during the same period under any other governor in almost three decades.

"It is hard to argue with Gov. John Kasich's results when it comes to strengthening Ohio's economy and the state's financial standing."
Ironton Tribune 07/12/13

"Gov. John Kasich has taken the foundation of Ohio's diverse economy and continued to build Ohio's reputation for businessfriendliness."
Columbus Dispatch 05/12/13

"Kasich's most critical accomplishment doesn't appear on a spreadsheet or in legislation; it rests in the hearts of the many Ohioans who again have hope that their state and their prospects are on the rise."
Columbus Dispatch 12/23/12

Largest Year-to-Year Tax Cut in the Country
Since taking office John Kasich has cut taxes by $3 billion. Last year's $2.7 billion tax cut was the largest in 2013 of any state in the nation.Today, families have more in their pockets, and virtually every small business saw their taxes cut in half.

Common Sense and a Balanced Budget
Working together with Conservatives at the Statehouse, John Kasich passed a balanced budget that erased an $8 billion deficit-without a tax increase—and killed the "death tax." He also erased a $1.6 billion deficit in highway funding—also without a tax increase—and provided billions in new funds for needed repairs to our highways—an engine for job creation. And, with Lt. Governor Mary Taylor heading up the "Common Sense lnitiative", hundreds of job-killing regulations are off the books.
