Cutting Spending
A former Pennsylvania Auditor General, Bob has a record of rooting out government waste and safeguarding taxpayer dollars. He is working to hold government accountable and cut government waste. In the Senate, he has voted for a trillion dollars in spending cuts.

Strengthening the Economy
Bob helped provide more small-business loans, led the effort in the Senate to extend the payroll tax cut, supported tax breaks for employers hiring unemployed workers and fought to protect the American steel industry.

Protecting Jobs
Bob voted against unfair NAFTA-style trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia and Panama, and he supports tough tariffs on China's attempts to gain a trade advantage over the U.S.

Fighting for Seniors and Veterans
Bob is helping veterans start small businesses and find new jobs, and he voted repeatedly to protect the long-term viability of Social Security and Medicare.
