NEW MEXICO
     Nov. 6, 2012 U.S. Senate

Card - 4" x 9"

Martin Heinrich:
All New Mexico. All the time.

The son of an electrician and a factory worker, Martin Heinrich's fight for the middle class began at home, where he learned the dignity of work and that opportunity and fairness are at the foundation of what makes America the greatest nation on earth.

On the Albuquerque City Council and as a member of Congress, Martin has fought to strengthen and rebuild our middle class.

Unlike many politicians in Washington, Martin never forgets where he came from or who sent him there. That's why Martin comes home nearly every week to hold job fairs and to help New Mexicans cut through red tape to get the veterans or Medicare benefits they deserve.

Martin led the successful fight to raise the minimum wage in Albuquerque. He has voted against every Congressional pay raise, worked to cut taxes on the middle class and small businesses, improved benefits for our veterans and protected seniors from the Republicans' attempts to end Medicare as we know it.

In the Senate, Martin will keep doing what Martin does best — focusing on what's right for New Mexico.

HEINRICH FOR SENATE

HEINRICH FOR SENATE

"With your help, I'll go to the Senate and continue to be a strong voice for New Mexico's middle-class families."
- Martin Heinrich

Martin believes:
A strong middle class is the key to a strong economy. That's why Martin is committed to providing tax breaks for middle-class families and will continue to work
to end the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, to end tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas, and to eliminate subsidies for Big Oil.

New Mexico thrives when small businesses thrive. Martin voted for tax cuts for small businesses to spur growth and innovation, and enable them to hire more workers.

Medicare and Social Security must be protected. Martin opposed the Republican plan to end Medicare and opposes all attempts to privatize Social Security.

We must keep our promise to our veterans. Martin is committed to addressing the needs of America's servicemen and women as well as those of their families. The first piece of legislation Martin wrote was a bill to make it easier for veterans to communicate with the Veterans Administration to get the benefits they deserve.
