As our United States Senator, Amy Klobuchar is a Minnesota leader who makes a difference.

Amy has brought Minnesota values and common sense to our nation's capital and has established record of results. She has the energy and detennination to get things done—the same fighting spirit she demonstrated during her years as a prosecutor—and the courage to set aside partisan divisions for the greater good.

Amy has worked to protect our seniors, fighting against risky schemes to privatize Social Security. This year she passed bipartisan legislation to help prevent prescription drug shortages.

Revitalizing Minnesota's Economy
Amy understands the economic challenges that middle-class families face. She's worked with our businesses to promote private sector jobs, encouraged exports so our farmers and businesses can sell their products overseas, championed tourism in Minnesota, and helped pass a Farm Bill that includes incentives to reduce our nation's dependence on foreign oil.

Standing up for Middle-Class Families
Amy has fought for middle-class tax cuts, passed reforms to protect people from unsafe products and contaminated food outbreaks, pushed for rules to protect Minnesota families and businesses from Wall Street speculators driving up gas prices, and took on the cell phone companies on behalf of consumers.

Promoting Fiscal Responsibility
Amy worked across party lines to pass the largest deficit reduction measure in nearly 20 years – cutting at least $2.1 trillion over the next 10 years. She will continue to work to reduce our debt in a balanced way, while still protecting seniors, the middle class and those who have been most harmed by the economic downturn.

Serving Minnesotans & Cutting Red Tape
Amy has cut through government red tape to provide assistance to Minnesota seniors, ensure our veterans receive their full benefits, help families bring home adopted children, and provide small businesses with access to the capital they need to create jobs and invest in future growth.
