Electing Democrats keeps Vermont moving forward.

ENSURING QUALITY, AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE.
Democrats worked across the aisle to pass H. 202, an act towards creating a universal healthcare system in Vermont. This is the first-in-the-nation single payer healthcare law. With 40,000 uninsured and 160,000 under-insured Vermonters, we need our Democratic leadership back in office to implement healthcare reform. With your help Vermont Democrats will finish the job they started, moving our healthcare system to a prevention-based model that controls the rising cost of healthcare.

KEEPING VERMONT OPEN FOR BUSINESS. The past two years of Democratic leadership have led Vermont to the fifth lowest unemployment rate in the nation while being the only state where median income has actually risen. Democrats are working to bring even more jobs to Vermont by increasing business climate predictability and supporting industry growth in all parts of the state, including 5,000 new jobs to be added in the Northeast Kingdom.

VERMONT IS UP AND RUNNING AFTER TROPICAL STORM IRENE. Tropical Storm Irene was the biggest natural disaster to hit Vermont in eighty years. But Vermonters went to work cleaning up, rebuilding over 500 miles of roads and 34 bridges for just a third of the estimated cost. This year Democrats led the way to ensure the largest transportation budget in Vermont's history will continue the important work, and new tax credits are helping businesses and towns rebuild, all without raising state income, sales or property taxes.

Vermont Democrats—moving forward.
