NEW HAMPSHIRE
     Nov. 2, 2010 U.S. Senate
Brochure - 4 1/8" x 11".

"New Hampshire has the grit, the determination and the work ethic to be the jobs capital of New England.

"And getting us there will be my top priority in the Senate."

-Paul Hodes

Paul Hodes has always been fiscally conservative and fiercely independent...

...just like New Hampshire.

For Paul Hodes, public service isn't about political interests or the special interests – it's about doing what's in New Hampshire's best interest. As an assistant Attorney General to David Souter, he prosecuted white-collar criminals and polluters. In Congress, he worked to bring jobs back to the North Country. For students, for veterans and for the average taxpayer, Paul Hodes keeps his commitment to New Hampshire – even when he has to stand up to his own party to do it.

Now Paul is ready to take his leadership to the U.S. Senate, where he'll continue to be an independent voice for New Hampshire.

In the Senate, Paul Hodes will continue fighting for the middle class by:

• Cutting wasteful spending.
Paul voted against the Wall Street bailout and every congressional pay raise, and refuses to take earmarks.

Creating and protecting jobs in New Hampshire by cutting taxes for small business and ending tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.

• Making America energy-independent by investing in the clean-energy technology that will power the future and ending tax breaks for Big Oil.

Protecting a woman's right to choose.

Continuing to fight for our veterans and make sure they receive the benefits they deserve.

Standing strong for New Hampshire.

"If you are as sick of bailouts for Wall Street fat cats, handouts for insurance companies and headaches for the middle class as I am, join our fight."
- Paul Hodes

"Change doesn't happen by doing what's easy; it happens when we do what's right. I won't pick fights to score political points, but I won't shy away from the tough ones we need to win either."
- Paul Hodes

When George Bush was running our country into the ground, Paul Hodes stood up to do something about it. He ran for Congress to fight for the people of New Hampshire and change Washington. And he's never stopped putting the people of New Hampshire first.

A former prosecutor, Paul took on the big Wall Street banks by opposing the bailout. He took on the insurance companies to pass "Michelle's Law" to make sure that students could keep their coverage when they got sick, and he stood up for our veterans by fighting to restore billions in benefits and creating a veterans advocate to cut through the red tape and Washington bureaucracy.

He even stood up to his own party to fight for real ethics reforms, for an overhaul of the earmark process, and to protect our Second Amendment rights.

Now Paul is ready to take his leadership to the U.S. Senate, where he'll continue to be an independent voice for New Hampshire.

  • Working to protect and create New Hampshire jobs.

  • Fighting to turn our economy around so that middle-class families can get ahead.
  • Standing up to his party when they are wrong and standing with them when they are right.
  • Continuing his fight to ensure quality, affordable health care for all Americans.
  • Protecting a woman's right to choose.
  • Stopping global warming, repairing the damage we've done to our environment and making America energy independent, once and for all.
  • Continuing to fight for our veterans and ensure they get the benefits they've earned.
