Notes:  Sen. Johnny Isakson (R) won a second term, defeating Labor Commissioner Mike Thurmond (D) and airline pilot Chuck Donovan (L). 
In the July 20 primaries, Isakson was unopposed, while Thurmond won with 84.3% of the vote.  Isakson, Thurmond and Donovan participated in the Atlanta Press Club debate at Georgia Public Broadcasting, aired on Oct. 24 (>).  The race was not competitive financially.  Open Secrets reports the Isakson campaign spent close to $9.0 million and finished with $1.2 milllion in cash on hand for the cycle, compared to $336,174 spent by the Thurmond campaign (>).
