Boxer and Fiorina participated in a televised debate on Sept. 1 at Saint Mary's College of California in Morago (>) as well as a radio debate on Sept. 29 on KPCC-FM's Patt Morrison show.

According to Open Secrets, the Fiorina campaign outspent the Boxer campaign by $21.3 million to $8.6 million (>).  Of $21.4 million her campaign raised, Fiorina chipped in $5.5 million in self-financing.  Additionally, more than $21 million in outside spending flowed into the race.
