- Provided revenue sharing from Alaska's oil resources
- Provided tax relief for fisherman and other Exxon Valdez plantiffs
- Protected the Secure Rural School funding program
- Sponsored and passed federal loan guarantees for the gas line
- Created the Renewable Energy Deployment Grant program
- Fought side-by-side with Fairbanks to keep Eielson off the BRAC list
- Fought for our wounded warriors returning home
- Increased funding far the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Accelerated land transfer from the federal government to Alaska
