Steve Beshear, the son of a Baptist minister, has been married to his wife Jane for over 40 years.

"I'LL TAKE ON ANYONE TO STAND UP FOR KENTUCKY."

GOVERNOR STEVE
BESHEAR

Working to create jobs and make government live within its means

"I believe in accountability. Despite the global recession, we have managed to balance Kentucky's budget 9 straight times WITHOUT any broad-based tax increases on families and businesses. We have created the smallest state government in more than two decades, cut waste and sold unneeded state property and vehicles, including two state airplanes. My staff and I even took 10% pay cuts."
