Promoters
The Electoral Commission categorises individuals and groups that "spend or intend to spend over $17,000 (including GST) on election advertising during the 3 month regulated period before election day" as promoters.  As of early August, 13 such groups have registered with the Electoral Commission.  These include six big trade unions, some of which run election-focused campaigns seeking to mobilise their members, and other pressure groups.
