RIDER VOTE 2026 — TAKE THE FIVE QUESTIONS TO THE POLITICIANS

MAGNZ has now put the same five questions directly to New Zealand’s six main political parties, asking them to tell riders where they stand on motorcycle ACC levies before the election.

Responses are requested by 30 September. We’ll publish what each party tells us on a scoreboard here and at our website — and record where no response is received — so riders can make their own informed decisions.
But we don't have to wait for politicians to come to us.

We want riders around the country to get involved.

Find out when your local candidates, MPs or party leaders are holding public meetings, candidate debates, street meetings or campaign events. If the event is open to the public, turn up. Take a few copies of the RIDER VOTE 2026 flyer and, where the organisers permit it, hand them to candidates and attendees.

If there's an opportunity for public questions, ask a candidate about motorcycle ACC levies directly. Be respectful, keep it peaceful, and give them the opportunity to explain their party's position.

This isn't about telling anyone who to vote for. It's about making sure politicians know that riders are listening — and making sure riders know what the parties intend to do.

MAGNZ will also coordinate attendance at some of the larger public campaign meetings as they are announced.

So keep an eye on the MAGNZ page and be prepared for a RIDER VOTE turnout at short notice. If there's a significant political meeting happening in your area, let us know.

Print the flyer. Take a mate, or 20. Turn up. Ask the questions.

100,000+ motorcycle owners represent a constituency worth listening to.
