Milwaukee — A group of local business leaders is partnering with the MKE 2024 Host Committee to host the official welcome party ahead of the 2024 Republican National Convention. The 414 Council, a newly formed group of Milwaukee-area businesses and leaders, has made a commitment to supporting the welcome party – an opportunity they see to help promote Milwaukee and the community. As part of their partnership, the organizations are joining the Host Committee to throw a “Red, White and Brew” party at the Henry Maier Festival Park on July 14, 2024.
“Joining the 414 Council should be a priority for any business looking to ensure Milwaukee shines on a national stage,” said Jim Kanter, Chief Commercial Officer at Central Standard Craft Distillery. “The 414 Council will be important in helping the MKE 2024 Host Committee welcome thousands of guests to our city. We are excited to participate in these historic efforts and hope that more business leaders will join us along the way.”

The “Red, White, and Brew” welcome party is open to convention delegates and partner organizations. It will take place at the Henry Maier Festival Park and will feature Wisconsin food, drinks, and more. Country music artist Trace Adkins will perform for attendees. Members of the 414 Council are all Milwaukee area individuals, organizations, and businesses that have made a commitment to financially supporting the official party welcoming guests to Milwaukee.
