Coalition Celebrates a Successful March and the end of our Coalition

Milwaukee, WI – The Coalition to March on the RNC is proud to announce that on July 15th, we led over 120 organizations on a family friendly march within sight and sound of the Fiserv Forum. These organizations helped us to mobilize 3000 people in the streets. Thousands of people agree: we must fight the racist and reactionary Republican agenda! With the end of our March, our Coalition is coming to a close and we have no further plans to organize actions around the RNC. We are also not aware of other actions happening in Milwaukee this week.

While our Coalition is closing, our work is not stopping. Our endorsing organizations will continue their work to stand with Palestine, defend and expand immigrants’ rights, defend women’s, LGBTQ, and reproductive rights, and demand peace, justice, and equity for all. We encourage individuals who participated in our March to find an organization that marched with us and join! The work to fight back against racist, reactionary agendas continues!

In the coming weeks, many of our endorsing organizations will be shifting their focus to Chicago and the DNC. We look forward to joining our Chicago siblings in the streets on August 19th with the Coalition to March on the DNC. We know that the Democrats are working just as hard as the Republicans to promote racist and reactionary policies, especially when it comes to sending money and weapons to Israel. We had a spectacular march yesterday, and our endorsers look forward to more organizing in August and beyond!
