TARGETED COMMUNITY REPAIR
The moral case for reparations is incontrovertible. I believe that repair and healing are the core of reparations and the core of what we must achieve to restore our democracy for all Americans. We can "Cut the check" by adopting policies, investments and actions, that target Black lnstitutions that have been destroyed by structural racism.

ACCESS TO CAPITAL + COMMUNITY BASED BANKING
To address the systemic discrimination and shameless strip mining of communities of color we will support the formation of community-based banks, credit unions and financial institutions.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING
The Kennedy administration will bring forward powerful policies, for enabling access to quality housing. Among these we will be lowering interest rates on quality homes to 3% and offer preferences to teachers who work in the neighborhoods they live in.

CHOICE IN EDUCATION
Public education has collapsed in most working class neighborhoods. No issue is more important and urgent than addressing the breakdown of America's commitment to quality education for all. lncreasing home ownership and public grants will help revive neighborhoods and build the incomes and tax base for improved education services.

CIVIL, POLITICAL + ECONOMIC RIGHTS
Access to free passports can mean the difference between voting and not. Waiving this $60 fee can increase voter participation and access to any chartered financial institution. As President, free passports and policies like this will be my top priority.

HEALING THE RACIAL HEALTHCARE DIVIDE
The Kennedy administration will tackle the racial healthcare divide head on. Historical trauma and systemic biases are real, and must be considered in solutions-based policy. By engaging African-American communities in dialogue that center their needs, we will obtain vital input that informs our strategy to fix these disparities. Racial equity in healthcare will be a top priority of the Kennedy administration.
