WHY
CATHOLICS
SHOULD VOTE
This election turns on a razor's edge. The very constitutional order that guarantees us as Catholics the rights to life, liberty, and freedom of religion is at stake.
Our goal as Catholics is a just society – where abortion is unthinkable, parents are primary, the Church is free to carry out the works of mercy, and everyone can pursue a flourishing human life.
Our duty as Catholics is to participate in the political process to move towards that vision. No candidate is perfect. No party is perfect. But every Catholic is obligated to cast their vote for the future of their homeland.
ONE-THIRD OF CATHOLICS ARE NOT FULFILLING THEIR MORAL OB LIGATION TO CAST A BALLOT
CATHOLIC VOTES MATTER
Polls show that Catholics will decide the outcome of the 2024 election.

HERE ARE 3 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE
1. SOLIDARITY
With every vote we cast, we actively shape our society and promote the common good. We vote in solidarity with the poor, the unborn, and the most vulnerable. Catholics who vote with a well-formed conscience are protecting their dignity and fostering growth.
lf we don't vote, we deprive the public square of our Catholic faith and its true understanding of the human person, freedom, and the justice of God.
2. CIVIC DUTY
The Catechism of the Catholic Church is clear: Catholics have a serious moral obligation to vote.
Voting and political action is one way that the Catholic laity participates in the Church's work of evangelization. When we vote according to our faith and right judgment, we sanctify the local, state, and national public squares.
While no candidate is perfect, the fact that we voted far him or her gives us leverage to demand they become better, urge them not to compromise on our values, and work toward building a culture of life.

"Submission to authority and co-responsibility far the common good make it morally obligatory to pay taxes, to exercise the right to vote, and to defend one's country." (CCC 2240)
When we vote, we are
honoring God's design for our lives and accepting our
responsibility to act in the time and place he chose for
us - the 21st century United States of America. lt is
our grave moral duty to participate in the building up
of our nation in all ways available to us.
