WHAT THEY ARE CREATING: Content Creators Recap the Best Moments of the 2024 Democratic National Convention
CHICAGO – Throughout the four nights of the Democratic National Convention, hundreds of content creators produced videos, interviews, and other viral content that brought the best of the convention directly to their millions of followers.As part of a goal to reach more Americans than ever before and meet them where they are, the 2024 Democratic National Convention credentialed over 200 content creators to cover the convention in person and hundreds of others to cover remotely, with a cumulative reach of 500 million people. During the convention, content creators interviewed delegates, elected officials, and Democratic leaders on the Blue Carpet; produced content from the first-ever Creator Platform, and witnessed democracy in action as Democrats nationwide rallied around the Harris-Walz ticket.

Day one is in the books! 🔥 Here’s behind the scenes when America’s first-ever content creators get credentialed to go to the Democratic National Convention.
We got to be the first inside the United Center to check out all the vibes, the creator studios and lounges, tour the press areas and YES go right down to the convention floor.
We started with a trip down the icon BLUE carpet and did our best poses. Next was the big emotional moment walking in and seeing all the vibes in the main convention room where the bagel will drop. Many of us were feeling all the feels and it was a once in a lifetime memory.
We then found ourselves down on the convention floor where we got to watch a taping of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert – and we met AOC, DNC Chair Jaime R. Harrison and Wisconsin State Democratic Chair Ben Wikler.
The cameras were snapping and there might have been some dancing during the sound check. Make sure to follow all the DNC creators here and on other platforms for more behind the scenes. @mosheh: Atlanta rapper Lil Jon made a surprise appearance at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago Tuesday night when it became Georgia’s turn to cast its roll call vote.
When Democratic National Committee Secretary Jason Rae asked Georgia how it would cast its vote, the “Yeah!” rapper came down the aisle performing “Turn Down For What?.” For “Get Low,” he changed the lyrics of “to the window to the wall” to “VP Harris, Governor Walz.”
He joined Rep. Nikema Williams, who represents Georgia’s 5th congressional district, to cast the state’s 123 votes to ceremonially nominate Kamala Harris for president.
