DANA BASH, CNN HOST: Generally speaking, how should voters look at some of the changes that you have made, that you have explained some of here in your policy?
Is it because you have more experience now and you have learned more about the information? Is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary? And should they feel comfortable and confident that what you're saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?
KAMALA HARRIS, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES (D) AND U.S. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Dana, I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is, my values have not changed.
You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed, and I have worked on it, that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter, to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.
We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act. We have set goals for the United States of America and, by extension, the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as an example. That value has not changed.
My value around what we need to do to secure our border, that value has not changed. I spent two terms as the attorney general of California prosecuting transnational criminal organizations, violations of American laws regarding the passage, illegal passage, of guns, drugs and human beings across our border.
My values have not changed.

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING: In ‘Serious’ and ‘Substantive’ CNN Interview, Vice President Harris ‘Hit All Her Marks’
Last night, Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz sat down for their first interview as the Democratic ticket to lay out the stakes of the election and their strong, optimistic vision for the future. The vice president laid out her day one plan to create an opportunity economy to bring down the costs of everyday goods, invest in small businesses, and support the middle class. She also made the case to “turn the page” from Donald Trump and the division, anger, and chaos he represents. She instead offered a new way forward, “fueled by hope and by optimism.”
Here’s what reporters, analysts, and electeds are saying about the interview:
On airwaves:
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Willie Geist: “The underlying message of let’s turn the page, we're not going back, is that the stakes are so high that we cannot return to the years of Donald Trump. That's a position and something she said very explicitly in that interview yesterday. We showed some of Donald Trump's reaction, making very plain to the American public how different these two are just visually. Watching Vice President Harris give an interview, talk coherently about policy, whether you agree or not, and having a more calming effect than the chaos that comes with Donald Trump.”
On CNN’s This Morning, Kate Bedingfield: “She really articulated, I thought, a great case for a change from the kind of politics we've seen over the last decade. I mean she really kind of laid that kind of at the foot of Trump and really drew this contrast between, you know, I'm the change candidate - Donald Trump is not, he's the one who represents the way we've been doing things for the last decade, really since he came on the scene, which I thought was smart and effective. And then on this question of, you know, you're the vice president. I thought she really made a really forceful case for some of the best things that she and President Biden have been able to do in the White House.”
On CNN’s Special Coverage, David Axelrod: “She seemed strong. She seemed competent. She seemed like someone who could be president of the United States … As she spoke, I thought it showed a certain character the way she talked about Joe Biden … She gave him his due … That was elevating to me in a way I hadn’t expected.”
On CNN’s Special Coverage, Ashley Allison: “She made it very clear that she is still committed to her values, to be an American, to be a prosecutor… she attempted to draw the contrast without talking about Donald Trump but still being very clear and not berating her current boss … she was clearly able to draw her vision for how she wants to take the country forward with her opportunity economy … and she answered every question … as a capable qualified leader, and I do think she, I think she moved the ball forward a little bit.”
On CNN’s Special Coverage, Jamal Simmons: “The thing that struck me the most when I was watching that, she said something that was very Kamala Harris. She started talking about the opportunity economy, she started talking about investing in families, and when she did that, she said so that people can buy car seats, clothes, cribs. It was very specific. This is the way that when she goes out, she campaigns with the American people, she talks to them, not just about the big policy, but about the way that they interact with that policy in their own specific lives.”
On CNN’s Special Coverage, Ashley Etienne: “She looked in command. She looked strong. She looked very comfortable answering those very tough questions … She is demonstrating she is ready for the job, that she can handle the tough questions … The part I thought was the strongest was this answer about my values haven’t changed.”
On CNN’s Special Coverage, Karen Finney: “We would all want to know that we have leaders who when they get new information, more information are able to change their opinions … She actually twice in the interview talked very specifically about what is it we're trying to accomplish and what did we do in a number of different pieces of the policy agenda, where investments were made, where you address those issues, where you set time limits. That's very different than someone like former President Trump … If we wanted to talk about trust and consistency, there's a difference in your values maintaining themselves and you're trying to solve a problem versus you're saying, I just have to get elected.”
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Jeremy Peters: "Kamala Harris articulating a much more powerful statement about what four years of Trump would be and it would just be selfishness and it would be chaos and he’s doing that by pointing out what he’s incapable … She's very wisely making this about the country and bringing the country back together. Rather than saying, 'This is about me; this is who I am.' You already have one candidate who's doing that quite well."
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Ali Vitali: "I thought she was smart to explain her policy positions as not a change in values, not a change in her deep inner mooring, but instead something almost situational in terms of taking in more information."
On CNN’s The Lead, Michael Eric Dyson: “Values matter … I think it was brilliant to have Walz there, because the point is not that I'm too weak and therefore I can't do it by myself, we are a team. The guy I'm running against can't have his vice president or former vice president on any platform because he was involved in an insurrection that really threatened his life. So those values I think are extremely important.”
On CNN’s The Lead, Navin Nayak: “She's very composed. She's showing what she believes… Donald Trump, can’t figure out what he wants to see on any given day and is criticizing her intelligence and her race and whatever. I don't know that they have figured out what they want to say about her.”
On MSNBC’s The Last Word, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison: “I was proud to see both Kamala Harris and Tim Walz step right into Dana Bash's very pointed questions. You know, they didn't shy away from controversy. They answered the questions put to them, and they had good answers and I was glad to see that. She has a good record to defend and advance on the issue of immigration, and other issues as well, and I'm glad she wasn't shy about answering those questions forthrightly.”
On CNN’s The Lead, Congressman Robert Garcia: “People that know her understand she's always been someone of principle, that puts people first, that's committed to good governance, to ethical government and that's something of course that Donald Trump and JD Vance will never understand. And so her values have always been centered on fighting for the people. She always says her only client, the only client she's always had in her life as a prosecutor and so I think everyone's excited to hear the full interview, but I think just in the clip that we've seen, it's clear that she and the governor, I think are going to have a great night tonight.”
On CNN’s Laura Coates Live, Mitch Landrieu: “What the American people saw today was a very competent, smart person who was learned the hard work of governing well, and I think she's going to continue to demonstrate that and that's why I think America is going to be for a new pathway forward that she's talking about."
On MSNBC’s Deadline: White House, Lieutenant Colonel Amy McGrath:“It's profound and it's refreshing and it's what people want to hear. You know, people that don't watch politics every day are sort of like just – they’re turned off because they're disgusted by the mudslinging and just how low we've gotten in our political discourse. And to hear that, I think most Americans want that. They like that … She knows that she owns patriotism versus Donald Trump. She knows she does. When the other side is talking about throwing away the Constitution, when the other side's former secretary of defense said that he had to stop him from using the military against his own people in terms of shooting them in protests, Kamala Harris knows this and she is going to use it, and she's joyful about it. It's that joyful warrior. And boy, we are ready for that.”
On social:
Republican Former Congressman Adam Kinzinger: Kamala answering questions on TV is so much more refreshing than Donald Trumps arm-pit farting and word vomits.
Keith Boykin: The first 10 minutes of Kamala Harris’s CNN interview with Dana Bash is already more serious and substantive than any interview Donald Trump has ever given in the nine long years since he rode down his golden escalator in 2015.
Joseph Zeballos-Roig: The child tax credit getting multiple mentions from both Harris and Walz as key part of their agenda in CNN interview
Josh Wingrove: Harris doubles down on the bipartisan border bill, which died under pressure from Trump. Harris was asked if she'd push for that again. "Not only push it, I will make sure that it comes to my desk and I will sign it," she said.
Christopher Cadelago: Harris hit all her marks.
Olivia Troye: VP Kamala Harris's willingness to appoint a Republican to her cabinet is a powerful statement of commitment to serving all Americans. It's the leadership we need to bridge divides & work together for the greater good of the country.
Cheri Jacobus: VP Harris is normal and smart and competent in this interview. Nothing forced or rehearsed. Real answers. Trump will study this to prep for the debate. He will play it calm and cool. She will need to take the first swing and land the first punch. Out of the gate.
Luke Russert: Kamala Harris gave lucid and coherent answers on a variety of topics over 50 minutes. That alone sets the bar for the 2024 election.
Bill Burton: This interview with Dana Bash is a moment to recognize that it is absolutely under-appreciated that Vice President Harris is running a perfect campaign.
Kyle Griffin: Gov. Walz tells CNN the moment his son, Gus, stood up at the DNC was a "visceral, emotional moment." "I'm grateful I got to experience it, and I'm so proud of him. I'm proud of him, I'm proud of Hope, I'm proud of Gwen."
Bakari Sellers: Madame Vice President, as my daddy says, “you done good.”
Tim Hogan: Aced it. Republicans built this interview up to be some critical moment where a house of cards would be revealed. It was the exact opposite. Sort of like Trump expectation setting, calling Harris “dumb” in the lead-up to the debate. Can’t wait to see how that one turns out too!
Matt McDermott: Kamala Harris and Tim Walz gave a perfectly thoughtful, insightful interview. But the press continues to be plagued by an inability to interview Democrats without the entire conversation being framed as, “What is your response to this false Republican talking point?”
Chris Jackson: The louder Republicans holler about VP Harris' interview, the more you know she nailed it. #TruthHurts
Maria Cardona: The @VP is hitting this interview out of the park! Focusing on specifics, reminding Americans of the mess Trump left, and talking about her values of strengthening the middle class, and focusing on bettering people’s lives!! Go Madame VP!!
Anthony Scaramucci: She did well. She is going to win.
Donna Brazile: @KamalaHarris is running to become President of the United (not divided citizens) States (all 50 states plus DC and more) of America. She is looking to build upon the great #TeamUSA. VP Harris says she will put a Republican in her Cabinet if elected. Good
Dylan Wells: Walz, asked about day one priorities, name checked the child tax credit as an example that would reduce child poverty.
Nandita Bose: “My first thought was not about me. My first thought was about him," Kamala Harris on phone call from Biden, telling her he would withdraw.
Alex Cole: Kamala Harris crushed that CNN interview, and she didn't mention cancer windmills, shark electrocution, or Hannibal Lecter, not even once! On to the next talking point, MAGAs.
Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson: Vice President Kamala Harris was outstanding in her CNN interview tonight! She has a real vision for the country.
Andrew Werthmann: Kamala Harris crushed the interview with Dana Bash. Refreshingly, she actually answered policy questions in a thoughtful and coherent way something her opponent never does and the media normalizes.
Eric Schultz: textbook answers from @KamalaHarris on policy positions. most politicians would feel the need to rationalize, defend, explain.
impressive discipline to keep those answers tight and on-point.
Charlotte Clymer: I absolutely love how VP Harris and Gov. Walz keep expertly bringing back the interview to issues being experienced by working class families in this CNN interview. Strong, disciplined, empathetic messaging.
Jaime Harrison: Watching this interview and you quickly realize that she is our MVP for a reason.
Y’all keep underestimating her & you will be constantly disappointed!
#MVPandCoach
Congresswoman Lori Trahan: A powerful message from @KamalaHarris tonight: The true measure of a leader isn’t who you beat down. It’s who you lift up.
That’s what we should want from our next president — someone who is going to work for every American, not just the folks that voted for them.

In CNN Interview, Vice President Harris Lays Out Her Priorities for ‘Day One’
VP Harris to CNN: “One of My Highest Priorities Is To Do What We Can To Support and Strengthen the Middle Class”
In her interview with CNN today, Vice President Kamala Harris laid out her vision for creating an “opportunity economy” and how her work to build the middle class will begin on day one of her presidency. The Vice President has a plan to expand the Child Tax Credit, bring down grocery prices, cap drug costs, invest in small businesses, and lower the expense of owning and renting a home – and as she told CNN, she will get to work on this agenda on day one.
Vice President Harris has made clear that building up the middle class will be a defining goal of her presidency. She will deliver for Americans who are demanding a new way forward, toward a future that lifts up all Americans so that they can not just get by, but get ahead. Her plans stand in stark contrast to Trump, who would increase costs for families by $3,900 with his Trump Tax on everyday goods American families rely on, like gas, food, clothing, and medicine. Sixteen Nobel laureates agree that Trump’s economic agenda would ignite inflation, and other experts predict that his plans would plunge the United States into a recession.Dana Bash: “If you are elected, what would you do on day one in the White House?”
Vice President Harris: “Well, there are a number of things. I will tell you, first and foremost, one of my highest priorities is to do what we can to support and strengthen the middle class. When I look at the aspirations, the goals, the ambitions of the American people, I think that people are ready for a new way forward in a way that generations of Americans have been fueled by – by hope and by optimism.
“I think, sadly, in the last decade, we have had in the former president, someone who has really been pushing an agenda and an environment that is about diminishing the character and the strength of who we are as Americans, really dividing our nation, and I think people are ready to turn the page on that.”
Dana Bash: “So, what would you do day one?”
Vice President Harris: “Day one, it’s going to be about, one, implementing my plan for what I call an ‘opportunity economy.’ I've already laid out a number of proposals in that regard, which include what we're going to do to bring down the cost of everyday goods, what we're going to do to invest in America's small businesses, what we're going to do to invest in families – for example, extending the Child Tax Credit to $6,000 for families for the first year of their child's life to help them buy a car seat, to help them buy baby clothes, a crib.
There's the work that we're going to do that is about investing in the American family around affordable housing -- a big issue in our country right now. ”

In CNN Interview, Vice President Harris Slams Trump’s Economic Record
In her first sit-down interview as the Democratic nominee for President, Vice President Harris laid out the case against Donald Trump’s disastrous economic record that only helped the ultra-wealthy and his corporate buddies, while leaving working Americans behind.
President Biden and Vice President Harris came into office and immediately got to work to clean up the mess Trump left behind, leading America out of the COVID crisis.
Dana Bash: “But I wonder what you say to voters who do want to go back when it comes to the economy specifically, because their groceries were less expensive, housing was more affordable when Donald Trump was president?”
Vice President Harris: “When Joe Biden and I came in office during the height of a pandemic, we saw over 10 million jobs were lost. People -- I -- I mean, literally -- we were all tracking the numbers -- hundreds of people a day were dying because of COVID. The economy had crashed. In large part, all of that because of mismanagement by Donald Trump of that crisis.”
Compare that with Trump’s record and agenda:
Trump was the worst jobs president in modern American history.
Trump’s national sales tax plan would increase costs on middle class Americans by nearly $4,000 a year
Non-partisan analysis of Trump’s agenda found it would kill more than 3 million jobs, increase inflation, and send our economy into a recession
Trump has been rooting against our economy – the Dow hit another record high and the clean energy jobs he wants to destroy are booming

In CNN Interview, Vice President Harris Responds to GOP Attacks on Her Positions
In her CNN interview today, Vice President Harris laid out her vision and responded to Donald Trump’s and Republicans’ attacks on her policy positions.
Vice President Harris explained how her work in the Biden-Harris administration has shaped her views on how best to achieve policy outcomes – on issues from energy and environment to the border.
Vice President Harris set the record straight on a number of issues where Republicans have been attacking her:
On why she doesn’t support the Green New Deal:
“You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed -- and I have worked on it -- that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act. We have set goals for the United States of America and, by extension, the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as an example. That value has not changed.”
“I believe it is important to build consensus, and it is important to -- to find a common place of understanding of where we can actually solve problems.”
On why she doesn’t support banning fracking:
“I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking.”
“Let's be clear. My values have not changed. I believe it is very important that we take seriously what we must do to guard against what is a clear crisis in terms of the climate. And to do that, we can do what we have accomplished thus far. The Inflation Reduction Act -- what we have done to invest, by my calculation, over… a trillion dollars over the next 10 years, investing in a clean energy economy. What we've already done: creating over 300,000 new clean energy jobs.”
“That tells me, from my experience as vice president, we can do it without banning fracking. In fact… I cast the tie-breaking vote that actually increased leases for fracking as vice president. So I’m very clear about where I stand.”
On why she doesn’t support decriminalizing illegal border crossings and in fact wants to strengthen border security:
“We have laws that have to be followed and enforced that address and deal with people who cross our border illegally, and there should be consequence.”
“And let's be clear. In this race, I'm the only person who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations who traffic in guns, drugs, and human beings. I'm the only person in this race who actually served a border state as attorney general to enforce our laws. And I would enforce our laws as president going forward. I recognize the problem.”
“My value around what we need to do to secure our border, that value has not changed. I spent two terms as the attorney general of California prosecuting transnational criminal organizations -- violations of American laws regarding the passage -- illegal passage of guns, drugs, and human beings across our border. My values have not changed.”
“The root causes work that I did as vice president, that I was asked to do by the president, has actually resulted in a number of benefits, including historic investments by American businesses in that region. The number of immigrants coming from that region has actually reduced since we began that work.”
“But I will say this -- that Joe Biden and I and our administration worked with members of the United States Congress on an immigration issue that is very significant to the American people and to our security, which is the border. And through bipartisan work, including some of the most conservative members of the United States Congress, a bill was crafted, which we supported, which I support. And Donald Trump got word of this bill that would have contributed to securing our border, and because he believes that it would not have helped him politically, he told his folks in Congress, “Don't put it forward.” He killed the bill -- a border security bill that would have put 1,500 more agents on the border. And let me tell you something. The Border Patrol endorsed the bill, and I'm sure… in large part, because they knew they were working around the clock and 1,500 more agents would help them. That bill would have allowed us to increase seizures of fentanyl. Ask any community in America that has been devastated by fentanyl what passing that bill would have done to address their concern and a pain that they’ve experienced.”

In CNN Interview, Vice President Harris Makes the Case to ‘Turn the Page’ on Trump
Vice President Harris: “I'm so proud to be running with Tim Walz for president of the United States, and to bring America what I believe the American people deserve, which is a new way forward”
In her first sit-down interview as the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris laid out her belief that it was time to “turn the page” on Donald Trump and the division, anger, and chaos he represents. She instead offered a new way forward, “fueled by hope and by optimism.”
“That’s what’s at stake,” she said, “as much as any other detail that we could discuss in this election.”
Vice President Harris: “I am so proud to be running with Tim Walz for president of the United States and to bring America what I believe the American people deserve, which is a new way forward and turn the page on the last decade of what I believe has been contrary to where the spirit of our country really lies.
[...]
“I'm talking about an era that
started about a decade ago where there is some
suggestion -- warped, I believe it to be -- that the
measure of the strength of a leader is based on who
you beat down, instead of where I believe most
Americans are, which is to believe that the true
measure of the strength of a leader is based on who
you lift up. That's what's at stake, as much
as any other detail that we could discuss in this
election.”

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: Kamala's CNN Disaster
Last night, Kamala Harris and Timothy Walz sat down with CNN for a disastrous interview that confirmed what we already knew: the Harris-Walz ticket is the most Radical Left ticket in American political history.
Here's what they're saying:
- "Harris keeps saying 'my values haven’t changed' while not explaining why her positions have changed." (Yamiche Alcindor, NBC News)
- "Kamala Harris showed her tendency toward winding answers ... Thursday’s interview was a reminder that unscripted, she can sometimes deliver discursive answers that ramble and zigzag." (Reid Epstein, The New York Times)
- "I don't think she moved the ball that much forward." (David Axelrod, former Obama senior advisor)
- "'People are ready for a new way forward,' is an interesting comment from Kamala Harris, the sitting vice president." (Matt Viser, The Washington Post)
- "I don't think there's a policy separation that they've created with Biden." (Astead Herndon, The New York Times)
- "There's some cleaning up to do." (Domenico Montanaro, NPR)
- "Harris may have missed some opportunities — such as a chance to be specific about her plans for her first day as president." (Nicholas Nehamas, The New York Times)
- "They basically got through it." (Alex Thompson, Axios)
- "Kamala Harris still managed to fumble even this cozy chat." (Rozina Sabur, The Telegraph)
- "She offered no remorse, no regrets, no introspection about anything they've done." (Scott Jennings, CNN)
- "Kamala Harris was asked a specific question about what she would do on Day 1 if elected as POTUS. Her answer was so vague that it was essentially worthless." (Frank Luntz, pollster)
- "I didn't hear anything that helps me get a clearer [idea about] what a Harris administration would attempt to do. And I have no idea whatsoever on how a Harris presidency would differ from a Biden presidency." (Grant Reeher, Syracuse University)
- "Walz let off hook for claiming he’d carried weapons in a war zone. Harris let off hook on her part in cover up of Biden’s cognitive decline. @CNN giving masters class on how not to hold politicians to account." (Andrew Neil, The Daily Mail)
- "Only two words come to mind: Dishonest. Trainwreckalicious." (Joe Concha, Fox News)
- "Maybe she didn't score a touchdown." (Ashley Allison, former Obama White House staffer)
- "She did not actually make clear at a 2020 debate that she had changed her previous support for a fracking ban." (Daniel Dale, CNN)
- "You cannot trust her — and she proved it tonight. It was a disaster. This interview will be with her for a long, long time." (Tim Murtaugh, Trump senior advisor)
- "There was no reflection at all on the day one executive actions or anything else [Kamala and Biden] did for three-and-a-half years — or anything she said in her previous campaign, which was to have the most permissive immigration structure." (Scott Jennings, CNN)
What are the odds Kamala's handlers will let her do another interview? Will she bail on the debate after such a humiliating performance? Only time will tell.

Here's What Kamala Harris Didn't Talk About With CNN
Kamala spoke for just over 16 minutes and didn't even address the crime crisis in this nation. She spent a mere 3 minutes and 25 seconds talking about the economy and 2 minutes and 36 seconds talking about immigration.
Kamala said her values "have not changed" three separate times. She's still a San Francisco radical.
Here are all the things Kamala Harris failed to address tonight with CNN:
- Kamala's support for ending cash bail for violent criminals
- Kamala's fundraising for the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which freed rioters
- Kamala's tie-breaking vote for American Rescue Plan, which economists say fueled inflation.
- Kamala's support for defunding the police.
- Kamala's comments comparing policing to slavery.
- Kamala's repeated praise of Bidenomics.
- Kamala's support for Medicare-for-All, a socialist takeover of our healthcare system.
- Kamala's support for closing immigration detention centers and freeing thousands of criminals into American neighborhoods.
- Kamala saying we need to start "from scratch" with ICE and comparing ICE officers to the KKK.
- Kamala's support for reparations.
- Kamala's support
for decriminalizing prostitution.

Harris-Walz CNN Flop: Here's What You Missed
After 39 days of silence, Kamala Harris (and her safety blanket, Timothy Walz) finally sat down with CNN — and it was so bad, her handlers will never let her do another interview again.
If Kamala's goal was to confirm she's a Radical Left lunatic — mission accomplished.
Here's what you missed:
Kamala confirmed she's still a Radical Left lunatic: "My values have not changed."
- She still believes in mass
amnesty for millions of unvetted
illegals, ending
cash bail, decriminalizing illegal
border crossings, raising
money to bail violent criminals out of
jail, banning fracking, abolis
hing private health insurance, banning gas-powered vehicles, and so much more.
Kamala bizarrely
lied about her support for a fracking ban.
- She has repeatedly endorsed a ban on fracking. It's literally on tape.
Kamala said
she's "proud" of bringing inflation "down" to a higher
level than it was when she took office.
- Inflation was 1.4% when President Trump left office — and it hasn't been back to the Fed's target rate since amid the worst inflation crisis in more than three decades.
Kamala refused to address her support for decriminalizing illegal border crossings.
- Her silence confirmed what we already knew: yes, she supports decriminalizing illegal border crossings.
Kamala claimed presiding over a record number of illegal border crossings "actually resulted in a number of benefits."
- She then continued to profess support for a bill to grant illegal aliens a fast-track to citizenship — while doing nothing to address the millions of illegal aliens she welcomed into the country.
Kamala claimed one
of her "highest priorities" is to "strengthen and
support the middle class."
- Kamala is in office RIGHT NOW — and the middle class are suffering more than ever.
Kamala insisted
"Bidenomics" is a success.
- "Bidenomics" brought Americans the worst inflation crisis since the 1980s and has cost the average American family an extra $28,000 paying for the increased cost of living.
Kamala begrudgingly acknowledged
"prices are too high" under her tenure.
- She attempted to blame President Trump for the economic woes of her own administration — despite the fact that most Americans want the Trump economy BACK.
Kamala said
she has NO REGRETS about covering up Biden's cognitive
decline.
- She lied to the American people as she perpetuated a massive, wide-reaching fraud — until it was no longer tenable.
Timothy Walz refused to
address the stolen valor in which he is currently
embroiled.
- Tellingly, Stolen Valor Walz didn't deny it, either.
Timothy Walz was called
out for lying about using IVF and lying about his
arrest for drunk and reckless driving.
- He completely — and predictably — avoided the question.
Missing from the interview was any explanation whatsoever
from Kamala or Walz on the destructive policies
Harris and Biden have unleashed on the world during their
term — or any substantive plan to fix the mess they
created moving forward.
President Donald J. Trump and Senator JD Vance will continue granting unprecedented access to the American people as they barnstorm the country and share their vision of restoring American strength, prosperity, and success.

10 Questions Dana Bash Must Ask Kamala Harris
Last night, CNN announced that Kamala has mustered up the courage to sit for a *joint* interview — after 39 days of hiding out from reporters. It's no coincidence that Kamala & Walz's first interview is scheduled for the Thursday night before Labor Day weekend. They already hope it gets lost — and it hasn't even aired yet.
Kamala is clearly scared to do an interview on her own and it's pre-taped so they can clean it up if things go badly.
Here are 10 questions Dana Bash must ask Kamala Harris:
1. If you are capable of lowering prices for Americans, why haven’t you done it in the 3½ years you have been in office?
2. You say housing affordability would be a “Day One priority” if you were elected. Why is it not a priority now? Housing isn’t affordable for the average American in 99 percent of the nation.

4. You talk a lot about "freedom." What about the freedoms of Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and Jocelyn Nungaray? These women were killed by illegal immigrants who were let into the country under your watch.
5. President Trump didn't need a "border bill" to secure the border. Why did you support executive actions like stopping construction of the border wall and halting deportations that intentionally unsecured the border?
6. Trump was the first president in decades to start no new wars. Under your watch, wars are popping up in Europe and the Middle East. Why is that?
7. Why did you conceal Joe Biden's cognitive decline from the American people?
8. You supported the Defund the Police movement and have said more that police doesn’t mean more safety. Why do you want fewer police officers?
9. You’ve called for getting rid of cash bail and your campaign hasn’t backed away from it. Why do you still support such a radical view?
10. You have sent anonymous aides out to claim you've abandoned the radically liberal positions that you've held for decades. Do you think lying to the American people is the best strategy?

QUESTIONS FOR KAMALA
After 40 days of hiding from reporters and press conferences, Kamala Harris has agreed to a pre-taped one-on-one interview with CNN to be edited and aired on Thursday evening heading into a holiday weekend.Per usual, Kamala Harris’ campaign changed the terms in the hours leading up to the interview. What was supposed to be a one-on-one interview has now been demanded to be a joint interview with her VP Nominee, Tim Walz, to do damage control.
Enough is enough. It is time for the mainstream media to stop agreeing to Kamala Harris and her handler’s terms. Kamala Harris is running to be the President of the greatest country in the world yet will not do a single live interview to defend her record. She is not willing to take the hard questions and is therefore not ready to stand up to China, Russia, and North Korea. She is not a serious candidate.
She can run, but she can’t hide from her record of failures. Here are the questions CNN must ask Kamala Harris:
Border:
1. This week, you pledged support for hundreds of millions of dollars to President Trump's border wall if elected. You shocked many with this significant flip-flop from your previous statements, calling the border wall 'un-American' and 'stupid.' Is this backtrack 68 days out from Election Day an admission of guilt or political pandering when poll after poll is telling you the American people do not trust your track record at the border?
2. A recent report uncovered that your administration has caught at least 99 known or suspected terrorists only to release them back into communities nationwide as we speak. Do you have any remorse or regrets about releasing terrorists into our country? Why did your administration decide to release terrorists back on the streets?
3. The Homeland Security Inspector General report revealed that over 320,000 migrant children are missing across America today. The report goes on to say these children are at high risk for trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor- Where are these children?
4. We have no record of you going down to the border; we're not talking about adjacent refuel stops in El Paso, a 20-minute drive away from the border; we're talking about the border where Mexico and the United States meet and seeing the consequences of the open border for yourself and talking to those Border Patrol agents, as President Trump did this past week. How can any American trust that you will address a problem you have spent your entire Vice Presidency creating and a problem you won't even see with your own eyes?
5. Have you ever called Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, or Laken Riley's family to offer condolences after violent criminals you let in at our borders murdered their family members?
Economy:
6. Your administration was caught lying about the number of jobs created. Nearly 1 million jobs disappeared as the Bureau of Labor Statistics constantly revises its count of jobs down. How can people trust the economic reports that are coming out of your White House?
7. Under the Biden-Harris Administration, home prices have skyrocketed by 39 percent, making the American dream of owning a home impossible for many Americans. Experts say your plan will lead to more inflation and increase the price of homes even more. Can you explain how your plan would lower housing prices and why you haven't done anything to lower prices during the last four years?
8. When you ran for President in 2020, you said, "There's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking." Do you still support a radical ban on fracking?
9. You have previously said, "Bidenomics is working." But the data tells a different story. Since you took office, the cost of living has drastically increased. For instance, the price of groceries has increased by 22 percent, and the cost of gas has risen by 22 percent. Are you still proud of Bidenomics?
10. You recently proposed Soviet-style price controls on food. After much criticism of the plan by experts and the media, you walked back the plan as only for emergencies. The American people deserve to know where you stand on socialist economic policies. Do you support Soviet-style price controls and why do you continue to flip-flop on so many issues of this magnitude?
Foreign Policy:
11. This week, you were notably absent from any memorials or events honoring the 13 servicemen who were killed in your administration's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Why didn't you attend a public event honoring these brave men and women or meet with their Gold Star families?
12. You previously bragged that you were the last person in the room with President Biden before the decision was made to exit Afghanistan. Do you have any regrets over the most disastrous military exit since Vietnam that resulted in the deaths of Americans and our military equipment falling into the hands of terrorists?
Crime:
13. Violent crime is up in major cities across the country, you have previously praised defunding the police, removing cops from schools, cashless bail, and helped raise money to bail out violent rioters and murderers in 2020. Why should Americans trust you to keep their families safe?
Public Trust:
14. Since you've nominated yourself for President, you have been notably absent from the press and media interviews; in fact, this is your first and only interview in nearly a month. Many people are saying that if you're unable to stand up for your agenda in the press, you will not stand up for your priorities to adversarial nations like Russia, China, and North Korea. Why has your campaign put a moratorium on televised interviews, and will you commit to doing more solo live TV media appearances?
15. You are running a campaign pushing 'change.' The irony has not been lost on the American people, though, that you are the incumbent Vice President. You have bragged about being the last person in the room with President Biden when making tough decisions. You have had the power to make the change you are now campaigning on, and you haven't. Why should Americans believe you now?
16. Since you brought your VP Nominee to what was supposed to be a one-on-one interview, we should ask, it has been revealed that Tim Walz repeatedly lied about his military service–including his rank and that he carried weapons in "war." He even went as far as to say he served during Operation Enduring Freedom- he has, in fact, never done so. Do you think lying about military service is insulting to the Gold Star families whose sons and fathers did serve in that mission? Do you have any regrets for choosing lying Tim Walz as your running mate?
