Mar. 12, 2022 - Karen Bass' campaign launched its voter engagement effort in an event at Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC). About 100 people attended. Volunteers signed up for future events and did some initial phone-banking. The campaign plans to further ramp up its activity in April, opening regional offices and also running some pop-up offices. Alluding to Rick Caruso, Bass said, "Some people have millions and millions of dollars, but we have millions and millions of people."
