In Maryland, Delegate Dan Cox (R) is running to succeed Gov. Larry Hogan (R).  Former President Trump endorsed Cox in a Nov. 22 statement: " Dan Cox is an America First Patriot who is running for Governor in the Great State of Maryland. A tough lawyer, and smart businessman, Dan has done outstanding work in the Maryland General Assembly. Dan is MAGA all the way—unlike his opponent, Kelly Schultz, who was handpicked by her “boss,” RINO Larry Hogan, who has been terrible for our Country and is against the America First Movement. As a State Delegate, Dan stood up to Hogan when he was supporting and meeting with Joe Biden. Dan is for low taxes, school choice, and no more lockdowns. He supports our Military, our great Vets, our Second Amendment, which is under attack like never before, and importantly, is very strong on Election Integrity. He fought against the Rigged Presidential Election every step of the way, and will bring secure Elections back to Maryland. Dan Cox has my Complete and Total Endorsement!"  Democrats have a huge registration advantage in Maryland and hope to regain the governorship after eight years under Hogan; a dozen Democrats are running.  The primaries are July 19.
In Massachusetts, Kari MacRae, a teacher Buzzards Bay who was elected to the Bourne School Committee in May 2021, is running for State Senate in the Plymouth/Barnstable district.  On her campaign website she explained how she came to run for School Committee: "After witnessing the struggles of my students with remote learning, mandated face masks and social distancing during the 2020-2021 school year, I decided to run for a seat on the Bourne School Committee to offer a voice as a teacher and parent. I ran on a platform promising my constituents that as long as I was on the Bourne School Committee, I would not allow Critical Race Theory or Gender Identity Studies to be taught to our students, and that curriculum as a whole would be age appropriate."
John Gibbs (R) is challenging freshman U.S. Rep. Peter Meijer (R) in MI-3.  He served as Acting Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development at HUD under Secretary Ben Carson. Former President Trump endorsed him on Nov. 15: " John Gibbs is running against RINO Congressman Peter Meijer in Michigan’s 3rd District. Meyer has been a terrible representative of the Republican Party and beyond. John Gibbs is a fabulous talent who loves the State, our Military, and our Vets. He will always protect our Second Amendment, our Southern Border, and the Police—there will be no defunding with John! An undergraduate of Stanford with a master’s degree from Harvard, he will fight hard for the great people of Michigan. Unlike Peter Meijer, he will not turn his back on Michigan. Importantly, John was also a member of my 1776 Commission, and will be strong on education issues. John Gibbs has my Complete and Total Endorsement!"
Former Gov. Eric Greitens (R-MO) is a leading candidate in the Missouri U.S. Senate race, despite having left the office amid scandal.  He is one of ten Republicans seeking to succeed U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) in the Aug. 2 primary; Attorney General Eric Schmitt and U.S. Rep. Vicki Hartzler are the other top tier Republican candidates.
Mark McCloskey is another candidate for U.S. Senate in Missouri.  With his wife Patty, he came to national attention on June 28, 2020 when they stood in front of their property with guns defending it from a mob.
Billy Prempeh, who was the Republican nominee against U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D) in NJ-9 in 2020, is running again.  On his website he describes himself as " a US Air Force Veteran, First-Generation American, Millennial, Conservative Republican, and an American Freedom Fighter."
Sandy Smith is an "unapologetically America First, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military, freedom loving, pro-Trump fighter running for Congress in North Carolina's 1st District."
Courtney Geels, a nurse running for Congress in the new NC-4.
Michele Woodhouse, running for Congress in NC-11 in Western North Carolina, was one of the most active candidates working the area around media row.
State Rep. Taffy Howard (R) is challenging U.S. Rep. Dusty Johnson (R) for South Dakota's at-large congressional seat.
Logan Manhart is running for State House in South Dakota.
Kimberly Lowe, a farmer and mother of three, is challenging U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffin (R) in VA-9, running as a "proud Republican, conservative and Roanoke native."  In June 2021 she announced she would run against U.S. Rep. Bob Good (R) in VA-5, but she subsequently withdrew from that race and announced her bid against Griffin in Jan. 2022.  The primary is June 21, 2022.
Leslie French is running for Congress in WA-3, one of several Republicans challenging U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Butler (R) in the Aug. 2 blanket primary.  Herrera Butler was one of only ten Republicans who voted on Jan. 13, 2021 to impeach President Trump.
Jerrod Sessler, a businessman (founder and CEO of HomeTask) and U.S. Navy veteran, is one of five Republicans challenging U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse (R) in WA-4.  Also in the race is 2020 Republican gubernatorial nominee Loren Culp.  Newhouse has drawn ire of many Republicans for his vote on Jan. 13, 2021 to impeach President Trump.
Do you know who this is?  Unidentified candidate.
A man hands out flyers for a super PAC supporting the re-election of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).
The definition of electioneering: "taking part actively and energetically in the activities of an election campaign."  There are limits to what a candidate can do at CPAC.  One did not see campaign signs or other such active and energetic activities, but there were certainly many busy candidates.
